Simon Forrester believed Quentin Thorne must have investigated Melinda Linton, perhaps even secretly watched her from a place she couldn't see, but why would he ask like this now?
As if guessing the doubt in Simon's mind, Quentin said, "I know Annie brought her mother over; she mentioned it last time we met."
Simon knew then that Quentin hadn't investigated Melinda Linton.
Why didn't he investigate her? Was it fear of seeing an old flame, or simply out of loyalty to his marriage? Simon didn't know.
"Auntie is doing well now. I can't say much more; once you reunite with Candy, you can ask her specifically." After saying this, Simon turned and left the Thorne Family.
He went straight to Melinda Linton's place to find Sienna Thornton, had dinner, spent some time with her, and the two returned to the apartment.
Tomorrow is the third, and they both have to return to work, so after going back, they took a bath, chatted for a while, and then embraced, ready to sleep.
