In the waiting area outside the surgical unit, the Forrester and Thorne families sat quietly waiting.
Simon Forrester had been restless for a long time; he was now pacing back and forth outside the sliding door of the surgical unit. Every time the door opened, he joyfully peered inside.
This time, the door opened again, and instinctively, he looked over, eagerly watching the medical staff standing inside the door.
"Sienna Thorne, family of Sienna Thorne!" a nurse from the obstetrics department called out.
Simon Forrester strode over: "That's me, I'm Sienna Thorne's husband."
"The baby is born already; it's a six-pound-seven-ounce boy. He and his mother have been taken to the recovery room. One family member can follow me inside to change into sterile clothing."
Quentin Thorne and his wife, along with Old Master Forrester and Sylvia Langley, gathered around as well.
Old Master Forrester asked, "Has the baby arrived?"
