Gu Yuan's lips curled up high: "Brown sugar water isn't a magic potion; drinking it won't immediately solve everything."
Chi Yu glanced at her, realizing she was intentionally contradicting him, and then he said nothing more, turning around to walk away.
"Hey." She was here, so how could Gu Yuan let him leave easily? She called out to him: "Where are you going?"
Chi Yu: "To rest."
Gu Yuan's voice chased after him: "Rest? Does that mean you're sleeping alone tonight, not with me?"
He paused slightly, then continued walking forward as if he hadn't heard anything, maintaining his stubborn pride to the fullest. Gu Yuan took only a couple of quick steps to catch up and block his path. Looking at his slow pace, she stood in front of him and noticed his brows still furrowed. "What are you doing, always frowning? Can't you keep a good mood just after getting discharged?"
Chi Yu: "My mood is all because of you."
Gu Yuan: "What did I do to provoke you again?"
Chi Yu didn't respond.
