"Mom, Dad," Melody Thorne ran over, "why are you here?"
Lady Sila gave her daughter a reproachful look and huffed, "Something big like this happens, and you don't think to call us? Do you really need to sit there getting cursed at online? Your dad almost smashed the computer when he saw you being insulted. You're pregnant; if you can avoid dealing with things yourself, then do so, understand?"
