"You have some free time, don't you?" Melody Thorne turned around and raised her eyebrows slightly.
"Yes, I absolutely do," Jared Quinn pulled her over, and they snuggled up on the sofa. "When do you plan to tell Timmy that you're actually his mom?"
Originally, he planned to announce it when they got married to surprise Timmy, but telling him now might be an even bigger shock.
Melody looked up. "I want to tell Timmy soon, but I'm just not ready yet."
She was incredibly nervous—nervous about how Timmy would react. Would he be happy? Or something else?
The important thing was that she hadn't figured out how to tell Timmy yet.
"Then wait until you're ready to tell him."
"Okay, sure."
Melody's eyes were sparkling and so captivating at that moment that Jared Quinn couldn't resist leaning down to kiss her. The more he kissed her, the harder it was to stop.
