Chapter 2 - PART 2 : Who is the strongest here?

The cry of Shin's once-proud soul grew weak, like a flower eager to bloom for admiration—yet before it could, nature responded by withering it into a colorless plant.

Before long, the earth trembled, as if something was forcing it to bow. The ground quaked, nearby plants wilted and burned into crimson smoke, and fierce winds carried the threat of death to every living being. All could feel the pressure of a terrifying divine presence.

Shin collapsed deeper into despair, his body numb, tears flowing uncontrollably.

"This... this—[he turned forward] ahhkk…"

Right before his eyes stood a horrifying figure, massive yet vaguely human—an abomination beyond comprehension.

Shin was paralyzed. In that instant, it was as though his very existence had vanished upon witnessing that being—a creature of both human and demonic nature.

It bore a shattered, small wing on the left side of its human back, while its right side was an infernal form, dark as if made from pure shadows. Three eyes glared from different directions—front, side, and back—while its shoulders carried the severed arms of fallen angels who had long despaired toward the light.

...

"Ah, so you are the defiant one... HUH?!"

The creature suddenly spoke—its human side smirking arrogantly, its demonic side twisted into an absurd, menacing expression.

Shin seemed unworthy to even look upon it. His eyes turned white, bleeding gray tears that dripped onto the ground.

"Wha... WHAT IS THIS?! ARGHHHHH!!! NO... NOOO I CAN'T SEE!! IT HURTS—UARRGHH!!"

It was torment without touch. Shin's body, mind, and very existence suffered all at once, his screams echoing in hysteria within the unseen terror that devoured him.

"How rude... to refuse to look at me like that."

That distinct voice—cold yet divine—restored Shin's sight in an instant.

His face turned deathly pale. His eyes dimmed, skin aged and wrinkled irregularly—all within seconds.

Slowly, his mouth began to open, as if expelling something immense—wider and wider—until at last, Shin perished as the creature drew another entity out from within his shattered body.

Suddenly—

"CLANGG!!" "CLANGG!!"

The sound of chains moving at impossible speed!

They wrapped around the heads of both entities—but neither seemed surprised.

"Ahh… this game again."

The monster smirked, hiding its annoyance beneath a grin.

...

A man leaped in from above—bare-chested, his body marked with a black dragon tattoo. He wore silver-steel trousers engraved with sharp golden patterns, a soft silk cloth tied around his waist fluttering gracefully behind him.

For a moment, the wind stopped entirely.

In less than a millisecond, the man kicked the demon's head with overwhelming force!

The creature, bound by chains from the man's massive sword, was launched far into the distance.

"WOOOSHHHH!!"

It crashed into a mountain.

"THUMMM!!"

A storm of air followed the impact, shattering the mountain into fragments—a third of its mass crumbled into dust and debris.

"GHURRRRRH..."

After the strike, the man raised his head. His blonde hair partly covered his forehead, shimmering with a deep blue tint. His bright, masculine face radiated power—the kind that only awakens after years of silence from facing no equal.

"I am not a reason. I am a proof… that a true human is one who understands the depth of humanity's shallow deeds."

That was him—the strongest young hero of his era—Elevanour.

He stood tall, gripping his massive sword planted in the ground, gazing sharply toward where the demon had been hurled.

He was intrigued by a single creature, the creature that had previously emerged from the body of the already-dead Shin. Elevanour glanced cautiously; the creature was pure darkness energy, shaped like three large fingers with sharp tips.

He decided to approach the creature. The dark energy was so calm, as if it were merely a manipulation used by the Demon. But not long after — he felt something begin to touch his shoulder.

Immediately, Elevanour bent forward!! His veins strained to resist the enormous energy pressure behind him! Elevanour's eyes widened in shock.

Suddenly, he felt as if his body was split into four parts — because he saw four possibilities simultaneously, Elevanour seemed to already see himself in four different realities of his world experiencing this event.

"W-what... What is this?!!!" His body bent down, knees collapsed, hands clenched tightly trying to support all this pressure along with his legs. He tried to calm himself and forcefully look at who dared to do this while grinding his teeth fiercely.

"... " The Demon remained silent, emotionless; it reacted like a spark of fire nailed without a soul, it merely clapped while staring at Elevanour with empty emotion.

Elevanour grinned, his chest beginning to emit light energy, making the dark tattoo on his body start to glow. "This art is like a rebellious angel." Elevanour stared, smiling passionately as he tried to resist it all.

As if Elevanour's words were magical, the Demon immediately became angry; its face looked frustrated, its rage obvious for hidden reasons, then it asked, "What do you know about that, damn it!" The Demon glared at the bent Elevanour, simultaneously increasing the pressure, making the cracked earth expand further. "KREEGHHH!! THUMMM!!"

With its raging anger, it grabbed Elevanour's neck with a power called "Light Fall" — a power capable of erasing anyone from existence.

The Demon began to touch Elevanour's neck with that power, but... Elevanour vanished extremely quickly! With his divine speed, he immediately split the Demon in two with his large sword — with the chains clanging, he stored the sword on his shoulder in a pose like a powerful man challenging the gods!

The Demon glared at Elevanour with pure anger and vengeance! Right in the middle, the entire body of the Demon turned into a shining light — not long after, it exploded, melting like plasma energy that destroyed every particle and atom of its being.

After a while, he walked like a strong human. In his mind, the presence of the Demon lingered, as if he felt it was strange that such a creature should not have been defeated so easily.

The world sang in the dead of night, the moon illuminating every hope of humanity shrouded in darkness that tried to disturb the peace of fragile and unstable souls.

Vulnerability is the basic ability of humans to be pitied; they bow to be trusted under the belief that they will submit with empty heads. In reality, they are merely licking the feet that have already stepped in their own filth.

...

After the battle, the people of the Kingdom of Elevanour and the Sun Kingdom returned to calm. They could feel the presence of Elevanour who had defeated the Demon, and they left the shelters to return to their homes.

In the Sun Kingdom of China, a child finally met his mother after the evacuation ended. The child was joyful, running while trying to reach his mother's hand.

However, as he jumped toward his mother,

time stopped, moving every second like the hands of a clock; the seven-year-old child seemed to age one year with every second that passed.

....

"Ugh?!!!" His eyes widened in shock as he ran as fast as possible when he realized the moon rotating westward like a clock moving each second...

Eventually, he stopped in a place with dense forest, as he began to sense energy that was not from Earth and was extremely intense.

By his extraordinary instinct, Elevanour immediately assumed an elite stance; he understood that this was far from over.

End... (Go for it bro)
