Chapter 109: Colossus - 2
The beast's eye alone was as large as Leo's entire body.
And just as he had suspected, it was red—though nowhere near as severe as the wolf's. The shadow wolf's eyes had been completely crimson, from sclera to pupil, but the colossus's were different.
Only faint traces of red lingered around the edges of the iris like a thin, unsettling ring.
It seemed as though the same drug had been used on it, but its enormous size had diluted the effects. The effects were weaker… yet still unmistakably present—
A wave of pressure rolled out from the creature's eye, and Leo staggered as the dagger in his hands suddenly shuddered. His eyes widened in shock. The chipped blade melted—literally melted—sliding off the bony handle like molten wax.
Then, the liquified metal hovered in the air for a brief moment, swirling like metallic slime, though the sharp glint made it feel far more dangerous than its texture suggested.
