Its eyes rolled back and its body collapsed with a heavy, final thud.
Lily let out a sharp exhale and spun toward Lunaria. A wide grin stretched across her face, growing wider and wider until it bordered on feral, and a bubbling giggle escaped her throat.
"Thank you, Leo!" she chirped.
Even without seeing it happen, she knew only Leo could come up with some absurdly broken methods to juice up a beast's firepower or make it level up in the middle of a fight.
Still grinning, she hopped down from the branch and jogged toward the Ox's corpse, ready to tap it with the metal plate.
But her foot struck something hard.
