Leo wore a fierce expression, though a hint of weariness lingered behind his eyes. His clothes hung in tatters, and his shoes had long since disappeared, leaving him completely barefoot.
Yet none of that mattered now.
He was free-falling through the clear sky.
"HAAAAAAA—!" he roared, his voice ripping through the wind as he plummeted downward, both legs wrapped in a blazing white aura so concentrated that it almost seemed solid.

The colossus' enormous head dipped slightly as Leo slammed down onto it. The shockwave rippled outward, its impact cracking the hardened earth covering its skull and forming a wide ring of fractures with Leo standing at its center.
Without wasting a second, he tried to activate his taming talent again—
And again, it rejected him.
"Tsk. The bastard still refuses."
Leo leapt from the creature's head as Shyra materialized beside him in a flash of cool, rippling mana.
