Chapter 206: Smartass Leo
"Get my territory registered first," Leo said flatly.
"Tsk… alright!"
Although Shub clicked his tongue, there wasn't the slightest confidence left in his voice or movements.
He hurried through the registration process, his fingers flying across his device.
Once he was done, he pulled out a fist-sized metallic cube.
Its smooth silver surface was etched with intricate engravings, with thin glowing lines running between them, making the device look like something straight out of a sci-fi movie.
"Take me to the treasure," Shub said. "I need to attach this to it."
Leo's gaze narrowed as he studied the box.
"That's not an explosive, is it?"
"Why would I try to blow it you—id—I mean… L-Leo!" Shub hurriedly corrected himself mid-sentence, his face stiffening.
At this point, Leo had enough evidence against him to get him expelled from the academy—or at the very least get him slapped with a two-million-AC fine for abuse of authority.
