While everyone was talking, Eric jumped down from Sam's back and ran happily towards Thomas and Luci, followed by a round, chubby chick.
"You guys are finally back!"
Luci smiled and rubbed Eric's head, wiping the thin layer of sweat from his forehead, saying with pity: "My, you must be very tired lately. Joseph and Thomas weren't here, and there were so many things in the tribe."
Saying that, she looked behind Eric. Surprisingly, Max's figure wasn't there; usually, wherever Eric went, that mischievous brat followed.
"Is Max not back yet? But didn't Kevin and the others join us..." Luci asked in confusion.
Eric looked disappointed: "Max set off a few days ago to take Mat away. Michael and Grass went with them."
"No wonder. Sigh, it's truly been hard on you." Thomas extended his large hand to pat Eric's shoulder, then led him to Karin and Queen.
