Chapter 24 - Traveling.

[You have slain an Awakened Beast, Carapace Scavenger.]

[Your destruction grows stronger.]

Arthur ignored the confirmation, leaning to the side he avoided another pincer.

Weaving left and right between attacks, Arthur killed the last two centurions.

It's been two days since he climbed off a statue.

Setting foot on what seemed to be gigantic skeletal remains, and then the bones themselves looked to be entwined between giant, chaotic coral, it almost looked like the coral was alive and trying to consume the giant skeleton of what seemed to be a sea creature.

He had rested on the highest possible place, which was the spine.

Good thing he did, since at night the dark waters returned, consuming anything alive in its depths.

Now he traveled further on foot, as the statue took a different direction.

From the top of the bones, he saw what looked to be gigantic black walls, possibly a citadel; sadly, it seemed unclaimed.

Meaning he would need to clear the guardian, which was a specifically strong nightmare creature.

And so Arthur traveled, and slowly he mapped the area in his mind, his good memory helping him.

He walked and walked, only stopping when he needed a high ground from the dark sea.

He killed and killed the centurions, which were weaker than the ones in the hollow mountains.

On one such day of walking, he saw a new nightmare creature, seemingly a spider, if spiders used steroids that is.

Seemingly a giant spider that weaves webs throughout the Coral Labyrinth to catch prey, its web is as strong as iron.

They were easy enough to deal with, if you didn't fall into the webs that is.
