I made chamomile tea with shaking hands for both of us.

"I know. I just.." He looked at the burner phone I'd put on the table. "Can I ask who you were talking to? Not because I don't trust you. Just because I'm interested in your business."
"My manufacturer in Guangzhou. There's a production delay on a custom order. She was calling to let me know."
"Guangzhou? You're working with manufacturers now? That's amazing. Your business is really growing."
"Slowly, but yes. I'm getting more serious about it."
"I'm proud of you." He pulled me into a hug and kissed my temple.
