Hashirama Senju, while great, was ill-suited for management. As the First Hokage, he was more a figurehead, with Tobirama handling everything.
With his quirky mindset, Hashirama wasn't fit for leadership. Morpheus wouldn't summon such a flawed figure, so he targeted the Second Hokage.
He first located the Scroll of Seals in the Hokage Tower, finding the Impure World Reincarnation technique. After some study, he mastered it, then adapted it into a magic spell.
This improved version required no human sacrifice. Morpheus crafted a body from earth and summoned Tobirama from the afterlife.
He explained his takeover of Konoha and his desire for Tobirama to manage it.
Faced with Morpheus's usurpation, Tobirama refused outright.
Morpheus had a simple solution: a beating.
Unfurling his domain, he thoroughly trounced Tobirama. After some "friendly" persuasion, the battered Tobirama agreed to work for him.
Morpheus then fully revived the Second Hokage.
This led to the morning's meeting.
The others were shocked to see Tobirama. No one expected Morpheus's chosen manager to be the Second Hokage.
Their awe of Morpheus deepened.
He said calmly, "Konoha's affairs are now Tobirama's responsibility. Obey him. Also, Shikaku, take me to the Uchiha clan's graves."
Shikaku, sensing something, glanced at Tobirama. Seeing no reaction, he agreed.
The two left for the Uchiha graves.
After Morpheus departed, Tobirama asked, "Monkey, Danzō, who is this man? He doesn't feel like a Konoha ninja."
Hiruzen, stunned, said, "Sensei, you don't know him either?"
Tobirama shook his head. "I was revived last night. I know nothing."
Hiruzen gave a bitter smile. "We know nothing about him either."
He recounted the previous day's events.
Tobirama asked coldly, "So, he single-handedly subdued all of Konoha's ninjas?"
Hiruzen nodded bitterly. After investigating, he confirmed the Sarutobi clan bore Morpheus's seals, their lives in his hands. It was suffocating.
Tobirama said, "To overpower you all alone, his strength rivals my brother's."
No wonder Morpheus had beaten him so easily. The man was terrifying, his origins unknown even to Hiruzen.
While Konoha's ninjas speculated about Morpheus, he followed Shikaku to the Uchiha graves.
With a snap of his fingers, Morpheus summoned earth puppets to unearth the Uchiha's bodies: Fugaku, Mikoto, Tetsuka, Izumi, Shisui, Hazuri, Setsuna, Kagami, and more.
Approaching the corpses, Morpheus cast a resurrection spell, bringing the Uchiha clan back to life.
He also embedded a magic seal in them to prevent rebellion. The Uchiha were notoriously arrogant, believing themselves second only to the heavens. Without a lesson, they wouldn't respect his authority.
The revived Uchiha were stunned.
Even Shikaku found it unbelievable. Reviving one person was one thing, but an entire clan? Even ancient figures?
Fugaku, seeing his clan restored, sank into self-doubt.
Only a few remained composed, including Uchiha Kagami.
He was the first to accept reality, glancing between Morpheus and Shikaku. "Did you revive our clan?"
Shikaku quickly said, "Not me. It's all the Lord's doing."
Kagami nodded, turning to Morpheus. "What purpose do you have for reviving the Uchiha?"
Morpheus said calmly, "Soon, I'll launch a war to unify the ninja world. Konoha lacks manpower, so I need your help. From now on, the Uchiha are my subordinates. Follow my orders."
Shisui frowned. "Lord, a war across the ninja world will kill many."
"What's that to me?" Morpheus countered. "I want a unified ninja world. If you refuse, I'll send you back to the afterlife."
Shisui faltered, about to speak, when a figure flashed forward. A sharp slap echoed, and Shisui was sent flying, crashing to the ground.
A man resembling Sasuke Uchiha stared coldly at Shisui. "Silence, fool. Who gave you the right to speak?"
Turning to Morpheus, he knelt. "Izuna Uchiha pledges loyalty to you, Lord. From today, I'll fight for you to conquer the ninja world."
Morpheus nodded. "So, you're Madara's brother. No wonder you're so decisive. Warring States ninjas are indeed different. I have high hopes for you, Izuna Uchiha."
No wonder he looked so much like Sasuke.
