Lee's POV
"Honey, aren't you happy that I've found such a good alpha?"
I smiled. My mom was getting married for the second time. Despite being a beta, she still found a good alpha, one who already had five sons. Four alphas and one omega, who was the same age as me.
"Of course, Mom. I'm happy."
I lied. I wasn't happy at all. I didn't want to move into my stepfather's house. It felt uncomfortable. They were rich people, while we were middle class. Our lives were completely different.
When I was a child, my father died in a car accident. Since then, my mom had been taking care of me. She raised me so well that I was already nineteen. But I hadn't been able to go to university because I took a break after graduating high school.
Our financial condition was bad, so I started doing part-time jobs after graduation. Then all of a sudden, Mom told me she had been in a relationship with a rich alpha for the past five years.
