Yesterday was one thing, but today was a new morning. Mina had decided the she wouldn't let it affect her today, as a meeting was in the schedule first thing in the morning. And so she faintly smiled and handed out the coffee mugs from the cheap local cafe for her department enployees, her attempt at being even a faint bit of professional, setting one aside for herself before realizing...oh no....there was one more person to account for.
Right on cue, the room went still. The door opened again, quietly this time, and Isaac stepped in. Crisp suit, unreadable expression, not a hair out of place.
Everyone straightened. Mina froze, holding a coffee cup.
"Good morning," he said, voice calm but carrying enough authority to silence the room completely.
"G-good morning, sir!" everyone replied.
Mina tried to subtly place the spare mug near him, without drawing attention. It was her attempt at being polite, but Isaac's gaze flicked to it.
"You brought coffee for everyone?" he asked.
