Wonder Woman glanced at Eric with a complicated expression, then said, "If we have to sacrifice Rachel to save this universe, then I'd rather die as a proud Amazon warrior!"
"Alright."
At this point, the violent shaking of the ground made it impossible to stand, and a powerful, terrifying pressure had completely descended.
Amidst the lightning and thunder, there was a surge of bloody color and darkness.
Kara, with a wry smile, stood up and said to Wonder Woman, "I've changed my mind now. No matter what, I can never make that final decision. Rachel is my sister, and if I really did that, I think I would live in guilt for the rest of my life."
Wonder Woman revealed her Vulcan Sword from her magic bracelets.
This was the first time she had shown her Vulcan Sword; previously, she had always used her magic twin swords in combat.
Holding the Vulcan Sword aloft, Wonder Woman's face showed a heroic spirit as she said, "Now, by my order as the Vice Chairman of the Justice League, all Justice League members' orders are changed to full-force engagement with Trigon to protect Rachel!"
"Green Lantern, do you have any objections?"
Wonder Woman cast her gaze towards Green Lantern, who was bound by the Lasso of Truth.
"My duty is to be a cosmic police officer, not just a Justice League superhero. But I knew you two would eventually make this choice. Alright, I choose to obey your command. If we're doomed, then we're doomed!"
Green Lantern expressed his obedience to the command of Wonder Woman, the Vice Chairman.
Anyone bound by the Lasso of Truth speaks the truth, so Wonder Woman had no doubts and immediately released Green Lantern from its control.
Eric stared unblinkingly at Wonder Woman, who had suddenly changed her stance, as if trying to discern her inner thoughts.
The surging bloody color and smoke instantly swept through the entire space, and the sensation of spatial tremor assailed their minds.
A blood-red light pierced through the black clouds, casting a projection onto the ground.
"Hehehe!"
A heart-palpitating and unbearable laugh echoed from above, "My daughter, you hid from me, but I've finally found your location! You—will never be able to resist me! You—will never be able to defy me!"
Accompanying the descent of the bloody light, a massive demonic shadow descended from the sky.
The entity largely maintained a human appearance, possessing fiery red skin and exuding an inviolable aura.
Trigon's direct descent and his aura caused the entire space to be confined, making it difficult to even breathe normally.
The golden armor on his chest and the two pairs of eyes on his cheeks and forehead formed a bizarre appearance of six eyes.
This should only be a projection of Trigon.
Even as just a projection, when he appeared, he immediately became the master of this world.
Vast elemental power swirled around him, forming boiling fiery clouds.
All light came from beneath his feet; the earth and living beings groaned beneath him.
Trigon immediately saw Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, and Kara below him.
Having seen countless parallel worlds, he naturally recognized these key members of the Justice League.
"Are you trying to stop me?"
Trigon's voice boomed from high above, like thunder.
"As long as I stand here, you cannot advance a single step!"
Wonder Woman, holding the Vulcan Sword, shouted at Trigon.
"You, Wonder Woman, are forever unworthy! This era has no mass destruction weapons, no heroes; this is a world that will surrender to me at any moment!"
Trigon said to Wonder Woman, "You and I, we do not belong to this era! You cannot contend with me!"
"Then what about me?!"
Eric stood in front of the three, coldly looking up at Trigon above him.
As soon as his voice fell, Heat Vision from his eyes shot towards the opponent.
Two thick beams of Doomsday light directly shot towards the opponent.
The torrential energy of Heat Vision, surging upwards towards the sky, was a golden-crimson energy beam that forcefully broke through the elemental clouds surrounding him.
Boom!
Even though Heat Vision, at full power, was a physical attack, it still struck Trigon.
Trigon let out a roar and looked down.
He saw Eric had flown into the air, and Heat Vision from his eyes was still impacting him.
"You!"
Trigon seemed not to recognize the identity of the person before him and was momentarily stunned.
Having experienced many parallel universes, he had never encountered anyone on Earth who could cause him such harm.
"You are not Superman! You—who are you?"
While using his hand to block the Heat Vision emanating from Eric's eyes, Trigon retreated backward in mid-air, sharply questioning Eric.
"I am Superman's brother, Rachel's brother, and—your opponent!"
Eric replied, fully unleashing the Doomsday Vision from his eyes towards the opponent.
"Impossible, I have not seen you on any other Earth!"
Trigon had never imagined that Superman had a brother.
"I am destiny! I am the only one!"
Eric's fist turned into a gale, instantly charging towards the opponent.
The swirling wind was like a tornado, instantly sweeping away all the air.
Amidst the explosive sound, Eric's fist struck the opponent's palm.
Trigon, possessing immense power, was somewhat surprised by the strength Eric displayed.
This level of physical attack had completely surpassed certain physical definitions; even he could not underestimate it.
Moreover, the destructive aura emanating from the opponent's body was something even he could not completely ignore.
Trigon, with a cautious look in his eyes, immediately waved his hand backward.
Countless demons, their bodies burning with flames, all poured out, rushing towards Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, and Supergirl who were charging forward.
Eric, meanwhile, continued to battle Trigon.
Trigon did not need to use any magic; even a casual wave of his hand carried immense power.
Fiery Hellfire, following his movements, surged towards Eric from all directions in space.
The entire space seemed to be fixed by an intense aura, making it difficult for Eric to even move within it.
Eric, with hatred and destructive aura in his eyes, clenched his fists and broke through the opponent's obstruction at the fastest speed.
His eyes turned blood-red, and sharp, powerful bone spurs grew from his fists, striking the opponent like lightning.
Pfft!
The bone spurs pierced Trigon's skin, causing him to let out a roar.
Waving his palm, he directly slammed Eric to the ground.
Then, boundless Hellfire, from his swirling arm, was flung onto Eric, who had been knocked away.
Flames instantly engulfed him.
Flames that even the sun's fire could not compare to immediately burned on Eric's body.
Bang!
Eric's body heavily crashed onto the ground, instantly being scorched black.
Bang!
A sonic boom erupted, and a powerful roaring explosion echoed in the air.
Clark, arriving from the North Pole, struck Trigon like a bolt of lightning.
His fist violently slammed into the opponent's neck!
The enlarged Trigon was slightly swayed backward by Clark's attack, filled with hatred.
"How dare you!"
Clark's fists, each strike, unleashed the greatest strength of his life.
Having witnessed Eric being struck by the opponent's flames, his fate unknown, Clark, who had accumulated countless anger, now fully vented his rage.
Bang!
The sound of air exploding rang out, and Clark's fists were like untraceable thunder, each strike carrying a faint rumble of thunder and the whistling of wind.
Bang!
The "groan" of the air being shaken sounded, and after Clark's fist was blocked, he immediately shook his head, launching a headbutt attack that directly made Trigon recoil a step backward in the air.
But the next second, the enraged Trigon immediately fired a beam of light from his eyes, the same color as his skin.
Like Hellfire, or more like a tearing beam of light ripping through the air, it struck Clark's shoulder, instantly sending him flying backward.
Bang!
As Clark's body was propelled backward, he was intercepted by a figure.
Eric, completely blackened, as if reborn from fire, embraced Clark.
The two exchanged glances and immediately charged forward, one on the left, one on the right.
With bone spurs subtly growing all over his body, and his consciousness gradually blurring, Eric's emotions began to develop towards a more violent and berserk state.
Sizzle!
Eric's Heat Vision shot towards the destructive light beams emanating from Trigon's eyes.
Clark stood to Eric's right, suspended in the air, his Heat Vision striking and resisting the beam from the opponent's right eye.
"Ahhh!"
With veins bulging on his forehead and his eyes blood-red, Clark let out a roar, clashing with Trigon's right eye.
Boom! Boom!
The next second, Clark and Eric were both blasted backward by the opponent's vision, one after the other.
Clark, crashing onto the ground and shattering the stone floor, immediately got up and flew into the air, but the opponent's magical power always restrained him.
Eric's eyes, however, showed an even deeper madness.
"Waaah!"
Just as they were about to continue fighting the opponent, Rachel's crying suddenly echoed from Baron Winters's room.
Hearing the sound, Trigon immediately abandoned Eric and Clark, extending his hand into the room.
However, Eric moved a step ahead, to Baron Winters's side.
Looking at Eric, who was covered in blood, Baron Winters was startled and said, "Rachel is fine for now, you need to get him out of here as quickly as possible!"
Saying this, he used his staff to point at the fireplace.
The flames in the fireplace instantly grew several times larger.
When Clark also moved over, Winters gritted his teeth and pushed both of them into the flames.
Hiss!
Space warped, and Eric, holding Rachel, and Clark, appeared in an unfamiliar place the next moment.
In front of them were all retro buildings. Eric, holding Rachel, turned around to look at a driving carriage.
He used Super Vision to look at a distant newspaper stand.
Seeing the newspaper inside, he instantly understood what had happened.
"Where are we, Eric?"
Clark gasped, clutching his shoulder, and looked around the environment, asking Eric.
"San Francisco in 1906. We've traveled a hundred years back in time."
Eric looked at the buildings, which bore some resemblance to those of later generations, and said, "If you didn't skip history class, then you'd remember that on April 16, 1906, a devastating earthquake occurred here, causing tens of thousands of Deaths!"
"We've come to 1906?!"
Clark asked in disbelief, "We came to 1906 through Baron Winters's fireplace?"
"Yes."
Eric looked down at his sister, who was obediently watching him, and said, "His time cabin is independent of any time stream, so don't be surprised. What you should be worried about is whether Trigon will follow us?"
"He—can he follow us here?"
"I'm very sure, because today is April 16th! There will be an earthquake causing tens of thousands of Deaths next!"
Eric handed Rachel to Clark.
"Take good care of Rachel!"
While speaking, he aimed his gaze at the void ahead.
Under his gaze, Trigon's body gradually materialized in the void.
Dark red glimmered on his reddish-brown skin, and a powerful aura formed a furious tornado around him.
Eric no longer suppressed the violent and destructive aura within him, madly absorbing the Kryptonian Codex that Jor-El had transmitted to him.
The template, combined with the Kryptonian Life Codex, continuously tapped into his body's potential.
Clark, standing beside Eric, also noticed Eric's abnormality, looking in surprise at Eric, who radiated an aura similar to his own but even more destructive.
His body slowly changed; even the air he unconsciously exhaled caused the nearby sculptures to tremble.
One moment, the exhaled breath was like the hot air of a plateau; the next, it was like the freezing wind of a cold ice plain.
Only by discarding useless emotions and reason can one truly become destruction.
Only then can he completely defeat Trigon before him!
My existence is destruction!
Red light emanated from his eyes, and bone spurs grew from his body.
An intense pressure radiated from within him.
Boundless killing intent emanated from Eric's body.
Clark, standing beside him, looked at the bone spurs growing from Eric's body and felt an indescribable palpitation for a moment.
He vaguely had a feeling that the Eric before him had suddenly become a terrifying presence to him.
Opening his eyes, Eric instantly lunged forward.
He grabbed a metal statue from the roadside and threw it at Trigon!
Sound waves swept around, and everything in the vicinity trembled from the impact.
Eric leaped like thunder, instantly breaking through the barrier with a punch, sending Trigon stumbling backward.
