"You all look like you need some help."
Kara, Wonder Woman, and Green Lantern were dealing with demons swarming the sky when they suddenly heard a familiar voice.
Thump!
Wonder Woman slashed a demon that was attacking her, then twisted her body with the strength of her core, and with a whoosh—
Amidst the splashing blood, the head of a hideous demon was decapitated by Wonder Woman's sword.
Shaking the blood off her Vulcan Sword, Wonder Woman turned to face Batman, who had arrived suddenly.
"You're late this time, Batman!"
"Actually, I needed to do some preparatory work."
Batman indicated that it was not too late to arrive now.
"This isn't a scheduled fight; I don't know what preparations you needed to make."
Facing the charging demons, Wonder Woman immediately refocused her attention on the battle.
She flashed forward, maintaining a horizontal slash, and the demon's torso was directly cut in half by her Vulcan Sword.
Watching Wonder Woman unleash her power, Batman shook his head and immediately used his grappling gun to knock away a demon charging at him.
Bang!
He rolled forward, cleanly dodging the flames spat by a demon, then threw a Batarang, hitting a flying demon in the sky.
But facing the overwhelming number of demons, Batman quickly found himself surrounded.
After using his cape to push away the encircling demons, he quickly used his grappling gun to hook onto a wall, concealing himself in the shadows between the walls.
Next, he pressed a remote button in his hand.
An unmanned Batmobile roared like a wild bull, quickly rushing to the center of the battlefield.
After the Batmobile stopped in the center of the battlefield, a burst of ultrasonic waves immediately emanated from inside.
The high-frequency, highly lethal ultrasonic waves would even give Clark's steel body a headache.
Against this group of demons from another dimension, the ultrasonic waves had an unexpectedly effective result.
The demons affected by the ultrasonic noise slowed their movements, showing expressions of pain on their faces, and some even covered their ears, unable to bear it.
The highly lethal sonic weapon immediately affected all the demons on the scene to varying degrees.
"Hmph!"
Facing the slowed demons, Wonder Woman, though a bit dizzy, was not as incapacitated as the demons; she immediately swung her Vulcan Sword, effortlessly dispatching the demons surrounding her.
Blood rained down from the sky!
Accompanied by grotesque, mutilated corpses.
Wonder Woman was splattered with blood, like an Asura returned from Hell.
On the other side, Supergirl Kara and Green Lantern, taking advantage of the sudden shift in the battlefield, launched a powerful attack on their enemies, instantly annihilating these extra-dimensional demons.
"If this is your extra preparation, I must say, Batman, you prepared well."
After dealing with the demons, Green Lantern walked up to Batman and greeted him, "But how did you think of using ultrasonic waves against them?"
"The purer something is, the more they fear it."
Batman looked at the demon corpses strewn across the ground and said, "There's probably nothing purer in this world than the intangible."
Batman, a hint of seriousness in his eyes, looked towards Winters's room.
"Has Trigon entered that room?"
"Yes. But I can no longer sense Eriel, Clark, or Rachel."
Supergirl Kara replied to Batman with some worry.
The four of them, with different emotions, entered the Baron's room.
They found the Baron lying on a chair, gasping for breath, his forehead covered in dense sweat, seemingly having sustained a serious injury.
The leopard "Merlin" was sprawled at his feet, looking dejected, making whimpering sounds.
"Baron Winters?"
Seeing the Baron's miserable state, Kara immediately approached him and asked, "Are you alright?"
"I'm fine, just expended some mental energy."
Baron Winters adjusted his body and forced a smile at them, "When you get older, once your emotions become too agitated, especially when doing things under agitated emotions, it's easy to fall into this feeling of being completely drained."
After giving them a somewhat flippant explanation, Baron Winters's expression turned serious. He raised his cane and pointed it at the flames in the fireplace.
"Whoosh!"
The crimson flames suddenly shot up.
Then, a moving image appeared within the flames, a vivid scene clearly displaying the story unfolding in another timeline before everyone's eyes.
"This is?!"
Looking at the 19th-century buildings in the image, Green Lantern's face showed an expression of astonishment.
"What is this place?"
Baron Winters focused intently on the image transmitted back by the flames and replied to Green Lantern, "San Francisco in the early 20th century."
"San Francisco?"
Batman looked at the buildings in the image, constantly collapsing due to the aftershocks of the battle, and said in a hoarse voice, "If what we are seeing is San Francisco in 1906, then a magnitude 25 earthquake will occur here, triggering a massive fire. The earthquake and fire caused 23,000 Deaths and injuries, left 250,000 people homeless, and destroyed or collapsed 514 streets and 80,000 buildings."
Batman's words stunned the trio.
"So, you mean—"
Kara looked at the image displayed by the flames, showing a building collapsing from one of Eric's punches, and asked Batman in disbelief, "So this world-famous San Francisco earthquake was caused by Eric?"
"I'm afraid so."
Batman's brows furrowed as he watched Eric, whose body was beginning to grow bone spurs, and whispered, "And, I'm afraid Eric Kent has become an existence that even Trigon cannot ignore!"
In the 1906 timeline, screams of terror from the crowd echoed through the streets.
Trigon, dozens of meters tall, was enveloped in flames formed by elemental power, exuding a terrifying aura like a demon from Hell. Anyone who witnessed this scene immediately screamed and fled.
"Oh my God! It's a demon, the demon has descended, run!"
"God! Please save us!"
The fleeing crowd ran in panic, uttering various cries.
Civilians running on foot, nobles galloping in carriages, all pushed and shoved each other, turning the entire street into a turbulent, rushing torrent like waves.
Trigon, facing Eric, who was fully unleashed in his "Doomsday Template" form, was momentarily at a disadvantage.
Bang!
The moment Eric landed, he struck the city's open ground like a meteorite.
The ground instantly caved in several meters, forming a crater dozens of meters in diameter.
Shocking ground fissures spread outwards!
Unlucky individuals who couldn't escape were instantly swallowed by the bursting, spreading cracks.
Bang!
Trigon's flames impacted Eric's body, but one of the most important functions of the "Doomsday Template" was to adapt to the opponent's attack methods and develop resistance.
The impact of the flames this time caused him limited damage, and Eric, already beginning to adapt to the opponent's attack methods, was spurred into ferocity and immediately leaped forward.
Under the sweeping sound waves, all nearby glass shattered, and debris and dust continuously spread outwards.
In the blink of an eye, Eric, covered in bone spurs, transformed into a blur of afterimage and light, directly slamming into Trigon's body.
Trigon let out a wail, and in pain, fell backward.
Boom!
A building was crushed by his body, emitting a huge booming sound.
The ground experienced a massive tremor, like an earthquake.
One house crashed into another nearby building, followed by flames caused by a gas leak, burning fiercely.
The violent and destructive emotions within Eric at this moment, combined with the countless terrifying entities connected to his sea of consciousness, together emitted a strong ferocity that enveloped him, transforming him into an embodiment of destruction and darkness.
Bang!
Eric threw a punch, his fist seeming to pierce the air, striking Trigon's chest like thunder.
With a loud bang, Trigon was directly hammered and plowed forward along the ground.
Countless tall buildings were knocked down by his massive body, fires and explosions erupted, and the land was quickly enveloped by the terrified wails of humanity.
Countless people at the scene witnessed the horrifying spectacle unfolding before their eyes.
The perfect yet terrifying exoskeleton made of bone spurs created a natural disaster-like destructive effect wherever it went, causing all humans who witnessed it to be filled with dread.
Certain entities deep within their bodies were awakened, as if they had witnessed some invisible abyss.
Even Wonder Woman Diana Prince, who possessed the blood of a demigod and was observing the battle from another timeline through the fiercely burning flames, saw Eric in this state and her body involuntarily tensed, as if she had seen some destructive natural enemy.
Before Eric's berserk figure even entered Trigon's vicinity, he was injured by the intense elemental vision emanating from Trigon's eyes.
With a bang, he crashed into a building like a meteorite falling from the sky.
Along with a rumbling sound, Eric directly collapsed the building.
Blood gushed from his shoulder, followed by boundless rage.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Eric pierced through several buildings, impacting Trigon like a missile, his fists turning into lightning, striking Trigon's body with an unstoppable force that seemed to pierce through all obstacles.
Seeing that the guy in front of him not only showed no signs of weakening but actually seemed to grow stronger with each blow, and that his own attacks were becoming increasingly ineffective, Trigon grew more and more astonished.
Bang!
Eric's fist directly slammed into Trigon's face, producing a sound like an explosion of thunder.
A wild, destructive aura, swirling through the air, enveloped the area where the two were fighting.
Trigon was continuously pushed back by Eric's blows.
The skin on his face slightly cracked, and the elemental power swirling around his body instantly dimmed a few shades.
The continuous attacks, as if Eric wouldn't stop until his fists broke, left Trigon struggling to parry.
The demonic energy within him rapidly depleted, and the power maintaining his manifestation in this realm became increasingly precarious.
"No! How is this possible! This world must worship me, you must submit to me!"
An enraged Trigon let out a roar, and six eyes emitted elemental vision with a torrential destructive aura.
Six beams of destructive light, capable of cutting through air, shot towards Eric like a vast, sky-obscuring net.
Eric's eyes emitted Heat Vision, parrying the opponent's attacks, while he continued to push forward.
Unable to withstand the full-power output of Trigon's six elemental vision beams, Eric was violently slammed into a nearby clock tower the next second.
With a crash!
The upper half of the clock tower was snapped in half by Eric's impact.
Huge architectural debris fell from the sky, causing the crowd below to scream in terror.
Eric, who had completely abandoned his sanity, stood up and unleashed Heat Vision on a building blocking his path.
With a rumbling sound, amidst the cries and screams of the crowd, the entire building was split in two by his Heat Vision and collapsed with a crash.
After removing the obstruction from his sight, Eric looked forward.
Flames with immense magical power instantly enveloped him.
The Hellfire unleashed by Trigon burned fiercely on Eric's body.
But he had already begun to gradually adapt to this Hellfire.
The first time, the scorching flames almost killed him; now, their effect on him was merely to increase his pain.
Ignoring all pain, and with his consciousness now essentially controlled by instinct, Eric's eyes gleamed with bloodthirsty, destructive light. He instantly moved in front of Trigon, his fist punching forward beyond its limits.
Like a tireless monster, the inherent magical resistance and adaptability of the "Doomsday Template" made him increasingly adept at facing Trigon's magical attacks.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
The booming explosions of his fists rang out as Eric's tireless punches struck the opponent's face.
Trigon, continuously being pummeled, could only vent his anger through roars in the face of this humiliation.
Although this was not his true body, being relentlessly beaten in the face by a mere youngster he had never even heard of, and being utterly helpless, this feeling of immense humiliation drove him almost to madness.
In the other timeline, at Winters's manor, the group watched Eric, transformed into a destructive warrior, brutally beating Trigon, and they were all stunned.
"Perhaps we misunderstood something."
Green Lantern cleared his throat and said to Wonder Woman and Kara, "Changing the future doesn't necessarily mean altering past events. Perhaps we have other means of rectification. If we can unite with Eric in the future, that guy who keeps destroying universes, maybe we can stop him!"
Green Lantern had originally thought that the future Eric was just a guy independent of the Justice League, with similar abilities to Superman but very difficult to approach.
But through this current encounter, he decided to go back and have a good talk with Eric.
Perhaps the hero who saves the universe might just be him!
Kara, standing next to Green Lantern, looked at Eric, covered in bone spurs, like a world-ending machine, and a look of dread appeared on her face.
The genes etched in her mind told her that Eric's current state was definitely the ultimate weapon against her.
If he wanted to, he could kill her at any moment!
