Patients in light blue hospital gowns lined up for medication.
Lex Luthor, looking haggard in his hospital gown, walked to the medication window.
A Black doctor handed Lex a tray.
On the tray was a cup of water and a small transparent box containing a single pill.
"Alright, kid, this is yours!"
The female doctor handed the tray to Lex.
Seeing the doctor's unfriendly expression, Lex hesitated for a moment, but ultimately took the pill and swallowed it with the water.
The Black female doctor watched the compliant Lex with satisfaction, then turned her gaze to the person queuing behind Lex.
"Next!"
Lex, looking dispirited, walked to the psychiatric patient's lounge area, sat down, and stared blankly at the easel in front of him.
After a while, he picked up a paintbrush next to the easel, dipped it in oil paint, and prepared to sketch something on the white paper.
He had been at Belle Reve Psychiatric Hospital for half a year.
After being forcibly taken to the Krypton spaceship by Eric for treatment, although his consciousness returned to normal and he no longer identified as a Kryptonian, perhaps due to the side effects of the treatment, Lex's mental state developed some issues.
He had been discovered more than once standing on the manor's clock tower, holding a rolled-up blanket, claiming it was his younger brother, Julian.
Despite his brother having died in infancy long ago.
And he had also said on more than one occasion that his father, Lionel, conspired with a businessman named Darian to murder his grandparents.
These various insane behaviors led to him being committed to a psychiatric hospital by his father.
"Cough, cough!"
Lex coughed, covering his mouth, then spit out a red pill and threw it into the red paint in front of him.
While painting something on the paper with his brush, Lex looked up at the surveillance camera in the lounge.
Meanwhile, in the lounge corridor, Clark walked towards the lounge area accompanied by two medical Staff.
Along the way, many psychiatric patients glared at him.
Many of these "meteorite monsters" had been admitted by him and Eric together.
"Look who it is, the freak!"
A guy named Van, who had previously been committed to the psychiatric hospital by Clark for using his invisibility to harm others.
Now, seeing his enemy Clark enter, he immediately couldn't suppress his anger and lunged at Clark.
"You monster, you're the one who should be locked up here, they should lock you up!"
The moment Van lunged, he was restrained by medical Staff; two strong men punched him and then dragged him away.
Although punched, the still-shouting Van furiously cursed at Clark: "Monster!"
Clark's expression was somewhat solemn as he watched Van being dragged away by the medical Staff.
Accompanied by hospital personnel, he saw several more provocative "meteorite monsters," but ultimately arrived safely at the lounge.
"Lex!"
Upon seeing Lex, Clark immediately hurried over.
Lex, whom he hadn't seen in a long time, had grown thinner, and his spirits seemed even more haggard.
"Clark!"
Lex excitedly grabbed Clark's hand, "I thought I'd never see you again, Clark!"
Clark held Lex's hand, "I wanted to visit you last month, but the doctor said your condition might not be suitable for a visit."
Lex nodded at Clark's explanation, a faint smile appearing on his face, his eyes fixed on him without blinking.
