Cherreads

Chapter 131 - 131

Elric cut in, clearly aware of the shock rippling through the crowd. He waved a hand and gestured for the women behind him to move.

There was no need to linger anymore.

Just reading the system description wasn't enough—he wanted to personally bring them to see their new home.

"Alright, don't ask anymore," Elric said calmly.

"This is my ability. If you ask me about the principles—"

He glanced sideways at Elizabeth, who was already staring at him with those bright, inquisitive eyes, clearly about to start questioning him.

"I don't know."

Elizabeth froze mid-step.

"…Hmph."

"Let's go."

Elric took Elizabeth's hand and stepped forward first.

Behind them, Rachel, Elsa, Grace, and the others followed closely.

The moment all twelve entered the luminous passage—

Whoosh.

A strange, weightless sensation washed over them.

And in the next instant, their figures vanished.

Back on the ground, the people of the Ginkgo Community finally let out the breath they'd been holding.

Today, their worldview had been shattered.

Elric—and the women around him—had far exceeded anything they could understand.

Running away? Leaving?

No one even dared think about it anymore.

As long as Elric was here, this place was the safest location in the entire city.

And among the crowd, many women quietly began to think.

Shasha had been chosen directly by Mr. Elric.

Could they… also have a chance?

If they became his women… If they stood beside a man like that…

A powerful man having many partners—wasn't that only natural?

Meanwhile—

In the blink of an eye, Elric and his women stepped onto the Air Base.

The moment their feet touched the island, every single face lit up.

Because—

It was too comfortable.

Since the apocalypse began, colored fog had blanketed the world. None of them had seen true sunlight or breathed clean air for over ten days.

But here—

Bright sunshine.

Lush green vegetation.

A clear freshwater lake.

And most importantly—

Not a trace of fog.

Pure, fresh air filled their lungs.

"Oh my God… this is heaven."

"Lily, pinch me—quick! I'm not dreaming, right?!"

"I haven't breathed air like this since the world ended…"

"I thought I'd never feel this again."

"How is this even possible? Green plants? Freshwater? Fog isolation?"

"Even supernatural powers shouldn't be able to create something like this from nothing!"

Excited voices overlapped one another.

Jenna was so overwhelmed she grabbed Lily's arm, still half-convinced she was hallucinating.

Rachel closed her eyes and took a deep breath, her usual cold composure completely gone—only relief and joy remained.

Elizabeth, however, was different.

She was excited too—but her excitement was mixed with pure academic obsession.

She stared at the surroundings, muttering nonstop.

"Why does the ecosystem stabilize so perfectly…?"

"How does the air filtration work…?"

"Is this spatial separation or independent environmental generation…?"

Natasha and Elsa exchanged amused smiles, then quietly moved Elizabeth closer to Elric.

"Alright, Academician," Natasha teased softly, "now isn't the time to ask why."

She leaned in.

"Now is the time to thank my husband."

A Sweet Reward

"What—!"

Before Elizabeth could react—

Natasha and Elsa leaned in together and kissed Elric on the cheek.

Jenna and the others immediately followed.

In the rush of excitement, eight of the eleven women kissed him one after another.

Only Oli—still self-conscious—and Shasha—who was completely stunned and mentally blank—didn't join in.

Elizabeth was the only one closest to Elric who hadn't kissed him yet.

Elric raised an eyebrow and glanced at her.

"Oh, right," he said casually, "someone said she wanted me to find her a laboratory."

"…A lab?"

Elizabeth froze.

"You found me a laboratory?"

Her eyes widened.

"You haven't even gone out these days—how did you—"

Elric didn't answer.

He simply tapped his lips and looked at her again.

"…You!"

Elizabeth's ears turned red behind her glasses.

After stomping her foot lightly, she leaned forward and kissed him quickly.

"…Satisfied?"

Elric laughed.

"Alright."

"Let's go."

With a thought, he switched positions and appeared beside the buildings near the freshwater lake.

Two structures stood there:

One was a residential villa.

The other—a five-story building with no visible doors.

"These are the residential and functional buildings," Elric explained.

"The living quarters can wait."

"First—we'll set up the functional rooms."

He stepped into the five-story structure.

A translucent panel appeared before him.

[Ding. Please select five functional rooms.]

[After selection, the functional building will activate.]

Elric didn't hesitate.

He had already decided.

"The first one—"
