Chapter 27: Maya's Feeling 2
Ank now in front of the village wooden gate and In his hands, wrapped in cloth and bound with rope, he carried the broken arms of the Earth Spider, the very A rank monster that he had defeated.
He clutched them tight, like trophies of war.
Proof that he was no longer the boy who had once been very weak even a seven year boy could defeat him. Proof that he passed the Arthur test ,proof that now he was capable of surviving on this planet on his own ,proof that now his real struggles were going to begin.
Slowly he entered the village by passing a wooden gate and quickly rushed towards the Arthur house.
His heart raced. Old man had to see this.I've done it. I've really done it Ank murmured to himself in an excited tone.
The path of Arthur house felt long for Ank ,he wanted immediately to show how powerful he became to Arthur.He was very happy defeating an A rank monster ,even though he was once capable of destroying galaxies,This small feat that he achieved was more satisfying from him conquering galaxies .
But at the gate of the Arthur house, he stopped ,he found Maya was standing at the door silently waiting for someone.
Her hands were folded behind her back, her long red hair touching the ground.
Her eyes widened the moment she saw him, relief washing over her face .
"Ank " she whispered, very slowly that no one could hear but Ank heard .
But Ank barely slowed . His excitement burned too strongly. He gave her a quick smile and greeted her with a short, "I'm back," before stepping past her.
And then, before she could gather her words, he added, "Goodbye, Maya," and rushed forward.
Her lips parted, her words drowned in silence. For a moment, she stood frozen, stunned at how Ank quickly passed from him saying a few words and she wasn't able to say anything.
But Ank didn't notice Maya's stunned look . His thoughts were only on one man.
He immediately wants to meet Ank and tell his story and experience.
Ank cannot find Arthur inside the house ,he checked every room ,after searching for some time he immediately rushed towards the garden . He knew if Arthur was not inside the house then he would surely be in his small garden .
In the backyard of the house , Arthur sat on a chair near the low table, his eyes half closed as thinking about something but he quickly noticed Ank's presence .
When Ank entered, Arthur opened his eyes.
"Master!" Ank's voice shouted with excitement.
He dropped the bundle onto the table and unwrapped it, revealing the two legs of the Earth Spider that he cut as proved to show he succeeded.
Arthur's eyes flickered, then narrowed with interest and stood from his chair.
"From which monster?"
"They're from the Earth Spider!" Ank's chest swelled with pride. "An A rank monster. I fought it with everything I had. And I won."
Ank was excited like a child , he killed countless monsters that were far more powerful than earth spider but this win was different from him.
He was completely changed due to Arthur training and one step closer to achieving his dream of peace .
For a moment, silence hung between them.
Arthur leaned back in his chair again , folding his arms. "Tell me everything."
Arthur was surprised by Ank killing a A rank Earth spider in this level ,he knew earth spider was a low level S rank monster on fighting.
And so, Ank did.
He spoke of his first encounter with the low level monsters, of the endless hours spent searching for an A rank . He described Horskey, the strange monster creature who had become his opponent, and how he improved his attack and fighting style advantage and disadvantage while fighting.
How much time he wasted on fighting Horskey and then he finally encountered him. He recounted every step of the battle against the Earth Spider, every strike, every near death moment. His words carried how he struggles and how much he does hard work on defeating him.
Ank was very excited while telling his story ,while on Arthur's side he had mixed expressions when he start hearing Ank story .
He didn't know that Ank could defeat a monster like Horskey,he knew the monster level was low but his spell was powerful even though he can give a problem to any person at level 100 .
Maya, who had quietly slipped inside, listened from the side. She stood against the at side of the wooden wall , her breath catching at every detail every risk Ank had taken, every wound he had endured. Her fingers clenched at her chest, torn between pride and fear.
She was happy about Ank completing his test and now wants to talk to him as soon as possible.
When Ank finished, silence filled the room once more.
Arthur closed his eyes, letting the weight of the tale sink in. Then, slowly, he nodded.
"You've proven yourself, boy." His voice carried both pride and happiness. "Your strength is no longer in question."
Ank's heart swelled with pride once again .
He didn't know why but he felt happiness whenever Arthur praised him .
Arthur continued, his tone softening. "Now, return to your room and rest. You've earned it.
In a few days, you'll be free to leave this village and seek your own path. But before you go " His eyes sharpened, fixing Ank in place. "There is something I must speak to you about." and the promise I made to you tells about everything I knew about this planet.
Arthur knew Ank was someone that cannot live in a village and on this planet ,he understood by looking at Ank that he was someone that….
He didn't put it in words but knew he was special.
When Ank heard Arthur's suggestion he bowed his head respectfully. "Yes, Master."
Arthur words carried weight ,he knew his body was limited after fighting earth spider but his excitement gave him energy to move. Now Ank's real story was about to begin and in a few days he will find his path and his greatest decision that will change his life.
But Ank was too tired, too relieved to dwell on it.
With his spirit soaring, Ank left for his room, his mind already filled with dreams of how he will complete his quests in future and this time choose peace over domination.
And behind him, Maya stood frozen in the shadows, her world quietly unraveling.

All kings agreed with runewood king's suggestion and now their main topic was the upcoming tournament that was going to happen in the next six months .
You guys were ready because then the tournament will end ,we had to start your plans.
Everyone nodded,they made a plan to change the central continent permanently.
And one thing to remember,we cannot fail ,we know the consequences.
They didn't know that this decision was their biggest mistake in their life.
Tournament will change them forever, some will fall and some will change completely .
And the fall of the central continent and the first step of Ank towards dominance will start and once again ,the whole Universe will know Ank name not this time as first Emperor of the universe who ruled many Universes but as a person who will destroy a planet and kill billions for revenge.
