The cold, metallic ring of the system's voice echoed in Ank's mind.
He didn't want to see quests at moments like these but the system forcefully showed him the mission.

Ank's hand trembled as the glowing words dissolved into the air. For the first time after revival, system he cursed regularly showed him something he wanted to do and gave him Hope.
Hope that he cannot lose at any cost ,he had to do everything to complete this quest.
He whispered to himself, by standing from ground carrying maya body in his arms .
"First… I have to save Maya's body." I cannot risk her in these conditions.
Maya's face was pale and his heartbeat was slowly reducing.Every step he took was heavy with urgency, but he refused to slow. If he faltered now, the penalty would become reality.
He sprinted toward the mountain.
The mountains there my, Fights first his A rank monster after revival , mountains that he visits everyday for killing monsters and mountains that were home of two beings Ank could trust with his life—and now with Maya's.
Horskey.
The Earth Spider.
Both had once been his enemies. Both had fought with him to death . And yet… they had evolved, grown stronger, and now stood as the only allies capable of protecting Maya while he fulfilled the blood-soaked quests that awaited him.
He quickly reached the mountain and started searching for them.
Ank finally found them, they were sitting under the river where Ank took a nap when he first came.
Horskey sat with crossed arms, talking to earth spider. Earth Spider was double sized of Horskey with eight legs listening to what Horskey was saying.
When they felt my presence, Both turned their gaze on him.
"Protect her," Ank said without hesitation, showing Maya's body that he held in his arms. His voice cracked, but his eyes were steel. "Protect her even if it costs your lives."
Horskey tilted his head, silent.while The Earth Spider's took the body from Ank hand carefully and placed upon his giant rock body ,Neither asked questions, neither mocked his desperation. Neither reject helping him,they simply understand the Ank word.
The bond between Ank and them evolved very much ,they can die for Ank.
Ank now feeling relief,he knew they will protect him ,he stepped closer to Maya,his hand touching Maya's face .
"I will protect you," he whispered.
Then he turned his back and walked towards the village to complete the quest to save Maya's life.
Before he leave he checked both status.

The hunt began.
Ank knew that stone plant Spearman was so powerful that he was not capable of killing him.
But for Maya he had to do , he already made a plan and was ready to gamble his life once again to save Maya.
When Ank reached the village ,he found a massive army of stone plant-like monsters that he fought one year ago attacking the village.
Destroying everything that came into view.
Ank summoned his sword that Arthur gave him as a gift for finishing the training.
And he remembered his words ,Ank I am going to give you this sword ,this sword was the reason I left the village for one month and you had to take care of him.
I wanted to give this sword to Maya but I knew Maya would reject me and said to give it to you.
I didn't understand why Maya would reject this sword but I now knew .
This sword's name was stone asura ,one of seven asura swords that was the most powerful sword in duskwild.
The sword was simple ,when Ank held ,a bright light covered all his body and the sword acknowledged Ank as her master.
And now Ank was going to use it for the first time ,he knew using this sword his strength would multiply by 100 times.
Ank moved close towards the stone plant sider and started killing , Ank killed everything in his path.
Every kill brought him closer to the stone plant Spearman.
Every kill was another vow whispered to Maya's unconscious form: I will not fail .
Hours bled into one another. Village skies grew even darker, not with night, but with storms.
And then… the earth trembled.
Ank froze.
This was no ordinary earthquake. Ank knew who would come and he was ready to fight.
His grip tightened on his sword.
He had found him.
Or rather, the Stone Plant Spearman had found him.
A figure emerged from the earth itself, rising like a corpse clawing free from its grave. A colossal entity towering like a mountain, armored aggressively with spikes and vine thorns, holding a giant enchanted spear.
Its head tilted slowly, the sound of roots cracking echoing in the silence. Eyes like glowing embers burned into Ank's own.
Ank's heart pounded, but he did not flinch.
He raised his sword, his voice steady despite the storm raging inside him.
"Stone Plant Spearman…"
The stone plant spear man watched Ank for a moment and said his voice was like he was commanding. I finally found you and for your bad you will die by saying he raised his arms and shot countless Stone missiles towards him.
Ank's muscles tensed.
He had found his target.
And the true battle had yet to begin.
