Chapter 43:Princess run
The Central Continent land of endless kingdoms fighting with each other for land, powers of magic, and the throne of kings. Yet for one young woman, it has become nothing more than a cage filled with assassins.
For more than a year, the princess had been on the run.She knew something that had power to change the entire Central continents ,in his hand he held a wooden box that was the key that everyone wanted.
She once walked through its marble halls as a daughter of royalty. Her gowns shimmered like dawn, her laughter echoed through gardens. Everyone bowed when she passed. But now she is running.
At first, her escape seems simple.but now she knows she will die at any moment.
She boards a ship, hoping to slip past her pursuers by sailing toward the Diamondheart Continent. Normally, the journey takes only a month. Ships sail directly across the great ocean, arriving in Diamondheart with little delay.
But she cannot afford to take the direct route. Too many eyes were watching. Too many enemies were waiting.
And so, she chooses the long path,to distract them, indirect voyage through hidden ports and abandoned islands. She sails through storms, through seas crawling with pirates, through waters where even the sailors fear to drop anchor.
One month becomes two. Two becomes four. By the time the Diamondheart coastline comes into view, eight months have passed.
Eight months of running.
Eight months of fighting.
Eight months of watching everyone around her die.
"Please, just keep me safe until we reach port," she once pleaded with a merchant captain.
The man, sturdy and proud, smiled kindly. "Worry not, lady. I've ferried goods through pirate seas. I'll see you to safety."
Two nights later, she found him nailed to the mast. Arrows from Central Continent assassins pierced his chest. His eyes were wide open, frozen in disbelief.
Another time, mercenaries joined her cause. They were confident, boasting of dragon hunts and treasure hoards. She dared to hope they could protect her.
But when the enemy arrived, their screams filled the night. She fled while their blood pooled in the dirt.
Every hand extended to her was severed.
Every oath of protection was broken by death.
Slowly, painfully, she stopped asking for help.
By the time her feet touched the Diamondheart Continent, trust itself had become foreign to her.
Yet reaching new shores did not mean salvation.
The Central Continent never forgets. They hunt her like wolves. Spies lurk in marketplaces. Soldiers wait at crossroads. Assassins stalk her shadow.
Her destination is Noah City, heart of Diamondheart's Continent. If she can reach him, perhaps she can turn her fate around. Perhaps she can gain an ally strong enough to stand against the storm.
But whispers reach her ears , Noah is not a safe place for her. The Central Continent has already laid a trap there. Tens of thousands of troops wait within the city walls, ready to crush her the moment she enters.
Her chest grows cold. She cannot walk into such slaughter.
So she turns from the main roads. She slips into the villages, taking backwater paths where the mud swallows her boots. She changes her name, pretending to be nothing more than a wandering girl. She eats hard bread, drinks bitter water, and sleeps beneath leaking roofs.
But disguises cannot fool fate.
No matter how carefully she hides, pursuers always find her. She runs until her lungs burn. She hides until her skin freezes. And every time, blood follows.
A year passes since she first escaped.
A year of exhaustion.
A year of hopelessness.
A year where death is always one step behind her.
And still, she runs.
In some unknown place in universe
Destruction was sitting on his throne and his face was serious and in his front physical manifestation of fate with his golden hair touching his foot ,his eyes were close ,wearing an elegant golden gown and in a happy mood and smiling ,by seeing his face any gods,mortals can easily fell in love ,she was third most beautiful beings in entire universe and fourth most powerful beings in universe.
But destruction was in tense ,he cannot want to see his face and he was the last beings that he want to see ,even creation was better them him,he can handle creation but fate was on different level .And destruction hear fate voice ,his voice was sweet and and with a hint of superiority but for destruction his voice was far dangerous than Ank.
So destruction ,I knew you hate Ank and you intentionally gave him difficult quests ,so i want you to give him normal quests not difficult in the start.
So I make myself clear or not .
Destruction only nodded and cannot say any word ,unlike creation that he can challenge but Fate was a goddess that no one can want to fight .
She can easily defeat anyone because of his fate, except for Ank .
And she was a goddess that no one wanted to disturb ,unlike other gods and goddesses that cannot interfere in mortals life ,she can do anything to mortals .
She can change anyone's fate ,she can make a small insect into immortal that no one can kill the insects even the gods ,she can make a god useless that a punch from a one month child can kill him.
And the biggest reason she was here is because she hates Ank much more than destruction.
Ank was the only person whose fate she couldn't control and now she had a golden chance to erase his existence .
But Fate was angry because destruction was giving Ank difficult quests .
Destruction knew fate hated Ank but why she was fighting with me for Ank.
In the last destruction said he knew there was not a wise decision to fight fate ,i will try to give Ank quests that he can complete easily.
Fate nodded and disappeared .
Destruction was now relieved after fate left him.
But destruction did not know that fate had already made a plan that will crush Ank and Ank will become a monster that will hunt fate at any cost. In this plan she also involved him and the time came destruction and Ank will fight to death.
