Chapter 45 - Chapter 45:Stone plant attack

Chapter 45:Stone plant attack

When he saw a stone plant spear man was attacking him he quickly blocked the attack ,after blocking the attack he rushed towards him to kill him .

But he suddenly vanished and said we will fight but wait before you prove you are capable of fighting me.

By saying he once again shooted his spear to Ank.

But this time Ank stopped the spear easily and threw it at him but he already escaped .

Before Ank could rest ,another boom shook the skies.

The entire village trembled as cracks of violet light tore through the Skys. Countless portals erupted above the clouds and along the ground, ripping open like bleeding wounds. From within those portals, familiar shapes began to crawl out monsters Ank knew all too well.

Stone Plant Monsters.

Their twisted bodies were a grotesque fusion of moss, thorn, and jagged rock, their movements slow but heavy, each step shaking the ground. Their vines scraped across the earth, dragging shards of stone as their cores glowed faintly with green light.

The villagers who was now lay in ground screamed, try run in every direction as the creatures emerged in hordes

The stone plant monsters immediately began attacking the villagers.

Ank started helping villagers while protecting and helping in escape

While helping Ank had not forgotten that he had a quest to complete .

"This battle " he whispered, tightening his grip on his sword, "I'll probably lose."

Every part of him screamed that this was hopeless. He was outnumbered thousands to one.

But then his thoughts flickered to Maya. Her smile, her laughter, the reason why he was fighting .

"No." He lifted his sword, pointing his sword against the stone plant monster . "For her I will fight."

But for Maya's sake, he raised his sword and charged at the monsters.

With a battle cry tearing from his throat, Ank rushed forward.

Among the horde, he spotted a familiar figure

A massive figure lumbered out of the largest portal. Its body was covered in thick stone plates, its arms like tree trunks wrapped in vines, and its glowing emerald eyes burned with malice.

Ank's blood ran cold.

The Stone Plant Guardian.

Clenching his sword, Ank charged forward and struck the monster.

The Guardian roared, swinging a colossal arm downward. Ank raised his sword, bracing himself.

Clang!

The impact rattled his bones. His knees buckled as the sheer force drove him into the ground, leaving cracks spider webbing around his feet.

He once again stood to fight That monster

With a surge of energy, Ank pushed back, twisting his blade to redirect the strike. Sparks flew as steel clashed against stone, and in that instant, Ank lunged forward. His sword cut across the monster's body, slicing vines and stone fragments apart.

The Guardian staggered but quickly slammed its other arm into the earth.

Boom!

The ground quaked violently its skill, Earthquake Step, activated. The terrain split open, throwing Ank off balance as jagged spikes shot upward. He leaped back just in time, his breath ragged.

But he refused to back down.

"Come on then!" Ank roared. "Let's end this!"

Steel and stone clashed in a storm of blows. Ank's body moved faster than ever before, dodging sweeping arms, deflecting crushing strikes, and countering with precise slashes. Each second was a gamble between life and death.

Finally, Ank saw an opening. As the Guardian raised both arms overhead for a crushing blow, Ank darted forward, his sword glowing faintly with his energy.

"Die!"

With a clean strike, he pierced through the Guardian's core. The monster froze, its glowing eyes dimming before its massive body collapsed like a crumbling statue.

The battle had lasted only two minutes.

Ank stood there, chest heaving, sweat pouring down his face. He wiped his blade clean and glared at the swarming battlefield.

"That's one but I'm not done yet."

More monsters crawled out of the portals hundreds of them. Most were smaller, weaker than the Guardian, but their numbers made them no less dangerous.

Ank deflected one with his blade and rolled aside to dodge another. He swung his sword in a wide arc, cleaving three soldiers in half. Their stone cores shattered, scattering dust across the ground.

But more came. Always more.

"You're nothing but stepping stones." Ank's eyes blazed with determination as he pushed forward, cutting down everything in his way.

His blade moved like a storm, slicing through vines, breaking stone armor, and shattering cores. The battlefield became littered with fragments of broken monsters, yet the portals continued to spit out more.

Villagers cried out as soldiers swarmed toward them, but Ank intercepted, tearing through the monsters before they could reach the defenseless.

Every kill brought him closer to his goal. His real target was not the soldiers. It wasn't even the Guardian he had just slain.

It was the Boss.

"I'll find you," he whispered. "Stone Plant spear man I'll end you with my own hands."

And then I will kill the stone plant boss.
