Chapter 70: Saving Arthur
At midnight, before the battle would start,
Commander Nora had already left her camp to locate Arthur. She had an important mission to complete at any cost.
First, she met Freya and handed over the control of her army.
"Freya, I want you to kill as many as you can during the fight without holding back against these monsters."

And she also did not like this type of idea to use someone's life so someone can save them but she knew how his brother operated and she did not want to admit but he was always right.
Princess Freya nodded. She was very close to Nora. Nora was the first person who trained her and helped her to unlock her full potential.
After that, Nora left Princess Freya and moved towards Prince Marek's tent.
Prince Marek was awake and reviewing the strategies once again.
When Commander Nora entered, Prince Marek felt her presence and turned to look towards Nora. He knew why Nora came to his tent.
"Commander Nora, we already received orders from the Emperor, and we already started searching for Arthur.
If we find him, we will send you a message."
He was not happy with the Emperor's decision to send one of the powerful assets to protect a single person for some favor and hoping that they would save them.
He knew his aunt was one of the most powerful people in Duskwild, and leaving her aside during the war was a mistake, but he could not do anything. The Emperor's words were final.
Commander Nora said to Marek, "I had not come for this, and I knew you were not happy with our father's order. I also did not like this mission, but you and I both know how your father is. He is extremely overprotective towards his empire and people, so we can only believe in our father's plan.

But Marek asked, "I will not allow this." This was too risky.
But Nora stopped him. "I knew this mission was risky, and there was a ninety percent chance that I would not survive, but I had to do it."
The spell Nora was talking about would help her, but the spell would reduce her life force.
Marek knew his aunt, and he knew she would not back down from her words.
"I agree, but I have one condition. If there is any danger, you will immediately retreat no matter what happens to Arthur, and you promise me, Aunt, that you will survive. If you don't, how will I face Freya and the Emperor?"
Nora understood Marek's words, and she agreed to this condition.
"Marek, I will go first and wait for the opportunity to enter that you and Commander Adrian will create."
"Okay, understood. Commander Adrian and I will prepare everything so you can succeed."
After talking to Marek, she immediately moved towards Arthur's location.
Arthur was two kilometers away from Nora's distance and unconscious, hanging on wooden logs, struggling to stay alive.
On the other side, Marek quickly moved towards Commander Adrian's tent and told him Commander Nora's idea. At first, Commander Adrian objected that this was too risky, but Marek forced him, and in the end, he accepted.
Now both were a few kilometers away from the destroyed village where Ank and Arthur lived, and now the Stone Plant army was waiting for morning to attack them.
"Commander, ready for the show?"
"Yes, Prince. Let them see what they will fight in the morning."
By saying this, he quickly summoned a golden bow and shot an arrow into the sky.

Prince Marek already informed his army to be ready. He knew there was a chance this would start a war.

After ten minutes passed, the Stone Plant commanders and his army were in confusion.
They could not understand what these humans were doing.

An explosion happened, but this time, this explosion came from where Arthur was hung. The Stone Plant King quickly understood and ordered his commanders to go and see Arthur, if anything happened to him or not.
A Stone Plant commander quickly ran towards where Arthur was, but he was astonished by what he saw.
He quickly came back and asked the King, "King, you have to see this."
The Stone Plant King knew something had happened, and from his commander's tone, he could not ignore it. He quickly reached where Arthur was hung.
He was also surprised. The whole place was destroyed, and Arthur was missing, and in the center was a dead gigantic body of a Stone Plant.
Not an ordinary Stone Plant, but a commander. The Stone Plant King became very angry after seeing this and immediately released his killing intent that covered half of the Diamond Heart continent.
