"And what does my training have to do with this?" Lustre asks his voice getting even colder by the minute
"Nothing" Luciel says ever so calmly
"You guys should stop fighting" the second man says
"Speaking of which Dimitry, don't you have something to say to our dear Lustre" Luciel says Mockingly
"What are you trying to say" Dimitry says menacingly
"What?!!! You don't know" Luciel chuckles softly "Your dear sister have gone to see her Honey-boo" he says mockingly
"I, I didn't know that. But is that a problem?" Dimitry asks Unsure
Lustre stands up from his seat, his direction the exit doors. As he walks out towards the car, Axiver turns to him towards the surprised, as Lustre rarely ever leaves his office before Midnight
"Is there an issue?, Sir" Axiver asks
"We're heading back to the Estate now" He says his voice hard and hurried as though he was in a rush, Axiver knew better than to ask further questions, he enters into the car following suit as they return to the Estate.
On the car ride back, Luciels' words ring at him like a bell being struck at noon, As he reminisces on his once hard childhood.
As the head into the mansion, his footsteps echoing in the empty hallway, Axiver searches the area of any sign of trouble, but there seemed to be none.
The kids must already be asleep Lustre thought to himself, Before Lethan would have never slept so early, but it seems the presence of Riel was now useful to him although he still considered her a hindrance.
As Lusters' thought wonders about the children Luciels' words strike at him again
"I have to start training them, this seems to be a bother" Lustre says muttering underneath his breath
Saying that Kiha struts in, walking as though she owned the place,
"Lustre" she says her voice enthusiastic "You never come back this early" her face flushed as she talked.
Lustre looks at her as though he had found an insect where it was not supposed to be then asks "What are you doing here?" he voice ever so icy but this time it seemed even colder.
"I... I came to see you" Kiha said, her face still flushed red as she spoke
"I see... And with whose permission with that" He said, his gaze even colder as though he was stabbing spikes into her
"Come on, Lustre. Do I really need to ask for your permission anytime I wish to see you" she asks this time her voice not as enthusiastic.
Lustre remains silent for a bit and then he says "I believe, I'm the one asking the questions here, Kiha" he said his voice intimidating
"Y-Your mother" she says, Her voice shaking as her body trembles "She thought it would be a good idea for us to be together before the night of the wedding"
"I see" saying that Lustre glances up above at that the stairs before him. and as if being called to each other, there Riel was, standing, staring blankly at him and after some minute she head back toward the direction of her room.
"Not even a greeting" He mutters
"What did you say?" Kiha asked unclear of what he had said
"You will head back tonight, and without much wastage of time" he said his voice leaving room for no further discussion, But Kiha seemed to think otherwise.
"But Lustre, I traveled all the way here, won't you at least do me the favor of letting me stay a week?" she asked, her voice as though she was begging.
"Suit yourself, I couldn't care less either way" he says "OH, and you will be staying at the guest room.
I have a visitor in the mean time and she's staying in that room... I suppose you don't have any issues with that do you?" his tone low, sharp, and intimidating as if trying to prove that she could not defy a word he say.
He climbed up the stairs not once stopping or turning back and heads to his room, while Kiha stood there quiet and alone thinking of what he had said.
"Couldn't care less..?" she muttered, those words that stabbed her like being pierced like a million needles all around resonated within her because she knew that the words were nothing but the truth, the man she has spent her whole life loving couldn't care less for her being if anything, He found it only as a hindrance.
A FEW MOMENTS BEFORE
After the long hectic day, Riel had finally managed to put both Leth and Levi to sleep, she stepped out of the room quietly, closing the door behind her and head to her room.
She dresses up in her Nightwear residing into the softness of her bed. The bed was larger and softer than the one in her apartment it was one of the perks of being a rich noble and still after so many days of living in this estate she hadn't gotten used to it.
She was so used to sleeping on a small bed with Levi but now she couldn't because Lustre wouldn't allow it, he spoke of Levi needing to start being independent and that it had to start with him sleeping on his own bed.
And yet she just couldn't get used to it. She grasps her pillow as though it would evade her, trying to fall asleep but unfortunately it was to no avail.
As she heard the parking of a car at the entrance of the house from her she tried to ignore it, thinking that the only person that could be coming back at such a late hour of the night was Lustre.
As the name Lustre echoed in her head, she wondered if what Kiha had said was true. Thinking and thinking she could not answer that question on her own.
So she stood up from bed to ask the person that the question itself involved Lustre.
Walking towards the Hallway, she could hear voices from it, As she moved closer the voices became clearer and clearer, until she could tell who they belonged to. It was the voice of Lustre and Kiha and it seemed like they were talking about something serious.
"I see... And with whose permission with that" she heard Lustre say.
How could he say something like that and to his Fiancé, Riel asked questioning herself.
"Come on, Lustre. Do I really need to ask for your permission anytime I wish to see you" she asks this time her voice not as enthusiastic.
Lustre remains silent for a bit and then he says "I believe, I'm the one asking the questions here, Kiha" he said his voice intimidating
Riel could only hide at the corner hearing and feeling bad for Kiha.
Hearing enough, she had forgotten that she was hiding and before she knew it Lustre had seen her. He stared at her blankly as though he had caught a child stealing some candy, but in this case he hadn't caught a child stealing candy but had caught a peeping tom instead.
Embarrassed and not knowing what to do further, Riel turned heading back to her room, hurriedly. "This is so embarrassing" Riel says to her self as she rushed to her room.
