The mansion slowly grew quiet as the night deepened.
Rooms were assigned, doors closed, and lights dimmed one by one as everyone disappeared down the long hallways.
But of course… Sec-E could never go to sleep normally.
When the servants finished showing everyone their rooms, Keifer casually stretched and said, almost like it was the most normal thing in the world,
"Michael can stay in my room."
The entire hallway froze.
Michael blinked slowly. "…What?"
Aries narrowed his eyes.
Percy slowly turned toward Keifer.
Raphael crossed his arms while Angelo stared at him suspiciously.
Four brothers.
Same expression.
Pure suspicion.
Percy spoke first. "You sure?"
Aries added dryly, "You're not planning something tonight?"
Angelo leaned against the wall. "Don't you dare."
Raphael simply said, his tone sharp, "Watson."
Keifer raised an eyebrow innocently. "…What?"
Four voices answered at the same time.
"Nothing."
But the suspicion absolutely stayed.
Still, the rooms were decided.
Adam and Samuel took one room.Rakki and Mica another.Ella and Freya together.Edrix and Rory.Cin and David.Gemma and Ion.Angelo and Raphael.
And Michael would stay with Keifer.
Eventually everyone disappeared into their rooms, and the mansion finally settled into silence.
Or at least… that's what everyone thought.
Jay and Ava's room was beautiful.
Soft warm lights glowed across the walls, a huge bed sat in the center, and the balcony doors were slightly open with white curtains drifting gently in the night breeze.
Ava dramatically jumped onto the bed.
"Finally."
Jay laughed and sat beside her. Both of them had messy tied-up hair and white face masks on their faces.
Pure chaotic girl energy.
Ava rolled onto her side and looked at Jay.
"So."
Jay narrowed her eyes. "So?"
Ava grinned mischievously.
"How many times did Keifer flirt with you today?"
Jay groaned. "Too many."
Ava giggled. "You didn't complain."
Jay immediately threw a pillow at her.
"He literally called me Mrs. Watson in front of everyone."
Ava gasped dramatically.
"Oh my god."
Then she leaned closer.
"Did you like it?"
Jay tried to look annoyed.
But her ears turned slightly red.
Ava immediately buried her face into the pillow and screamed silently.
"I KNEW IT."
Jay quickly slapped a hand over her mouth. "SHUT UP."
Suddenly—
knock. knock.
Both girls froze.
The sound came from the balcony window.
Jay slowly turned her head. "…Did you hear that?"
Ava whispered nervously, "Please tell me that's not a ghost."
Another knock echoed softly against the glass.
Jay slowly walked toward the curtain like she was starring in a horror movie. Carefully, she pulled it aside.
Nothing.
For a second, everything was quiet.
Then suddenly—
Keifer's head popped up from the side of the window.
Jay gasped loudly and covered her mouth.
Keifer also almost screamed.
Because both girls were standing there in white face masks like ghosts.
"What the hell—" he whispered loudly. "You two look like haunted marshmallows."
Jay smacked the glass angrily. "What are YOU doing here?!"
Before Keifer could answer, another head climbed onto the balcony.
Michael.
He jumped over from the side balcony connected to Keifer's room, looked inside—
saw the face masks—
and almost screamed.
But Ava immediately covered his mouth.
"SHHH!"
Michael whispered in horror, "WHY DO YOU BOTH LOOK LIKE SERIAL KILLERS?"
Jay crossed her arms.
"No."
"What are YOU both doing here?"
Keifer leaned casually against the balcony railing.
"Simple."
He pointed inside the room.
"Michael stays here."
Then he pointed behind him.
"And Jay comes with me."
Jay blinked slowly. "…What?"
Keifer nodded toward the connecting balcony. "My room is right there."
Jay stared at him. "What if someone finds out?"
Keifer smirked.
"If we don't tell them… they won't know."
Michael nodded like this was the most brilliant plan ever created. "In the morning we switch back."
Ava clapped quietly.
"Oh this is scandalous."
Jay hesitated.
Ava leaned toward her teasingly. "Go."
Jay glared. "You're enjoying this too much."
Ava winked. "Always."
Jay smirked slowly and turned to Michael.
"So… you're sleeping with Ava tonight?"
Michael froze immediately.
"…Why does that sound like a trap?"
Ava burst out laughing.
"GO ALREADY."
Jay carefully stepped onto the balcony railing. The gap between the balconies wasn't huge, but it was still a little scary.
Keifer stood on the other side with his arms open.
"Jump."
Jay glared. "Easy for you to say."
Keifer smirked. "Trust me."
She hesitated for two seconds.
Then jumped.
Keifer caught her easily.
Being tall definitely helped.
Jay immediately smacked his shoulder.
"You could've warned me."
Keifer just laughed quietly.
Jay walked into his room and glanced around.
It was neat. Minimal. Calm.
But warm.
Then her eyes drifted to the wall beside the bed.
And she froze.
The entire wall was covered with photo frames.
Childhood photos of Keifer with his brothers.
Photos with his mother, Serina.
Pictures of Sec-E.
The ferris wheel photo.
The camp trip photo.
Their couple picture from her birthday.
Jay slowly walked closer.
Her heart softened.
Then her eyes landed on a small frame on the bedside table.
It was facing the wall.
Suspicious.
She picked it up and turned it around.
And immediately grabbed a pillow.
"KEIFER WATSON."
She threw it straight at his face.
He caught it calmly. "What?"
Jay pointed furiously at the photo.
"What the hell is THIS?"
It was a framed picture of her wearing the red Santa lingerie dress from Christmas.
Keifer shrugged casually.
"I like that picture."
Jay threw another pillow.
"YOU FRAMED IT."
He smirked. "Private collection."
Jay covered her face. "You are unbelievable."
Later the room grew quiet.
Keifer changed into reindeer boxers, completely shirtless.
Jay tried very hard not to stare.
Failed immediately.
Of course he noticed.
"You're staring."
Jay instantly looked away. "I'm not."
Keifer laughed softly and leaned closer.
"Goodnight kiss?"
Jay rolled her eyes.
"Fine."
It started as a simple kiss.
Then slowly deepened into a warm, lingering one.
Jay eventually pushed him away slightly.
"Sleep."
Keifer smiled. "Yes, boss."
They lay down together.
For once…
peaceful.
Morning sunlight filled the room.
Keifer woke first and looked down at Jay sleeping beside him, her hair messy and her face relaxed.
He smiled softly.
Then leaned close to her ear.
"Wake up, wifey."
Jay mumbled half asleep, "Five more minutes… hubby…"
Keifer chuckled.
Then whispered,
"Raphael and Angelo are coming."
Jay's eyes snapped open instantly.
She grabbed a pillow and threw it at his face.
"TRAITOR."
Then jumped out of bed.
"CALL AVA."
A few minutes later Jay carefully climbed back across the balcony while Keifer helped her.
Michael slipped out of the room.
Everything returned to normal.
Jay collapsed back onto the bed and instantly fell asleep again.
Two minutes later—
knock knock.
Raphael and Angelo stood outside.
"Open the door."
Ava opened it casually.
They looked inside.
Jay sleeping.
Michael stretching.
Everything normal.
Raphael narrowed his eyes suspiciously… but eventually they left.
Later everyone gathered in the living room after getting ready, and the mansion was loud again.
Suddenly Cin ran toward Jay like a missile.
"JAYYYYY!"
He hugged her tightly.
"My brother said yes!"
Jay blinked. "What?"
Cin grinned excitedly. "He accepted me to become a pilot!"
Jay's face lit up and she hugged him back.
"I told you he would."
Cin whispered proudly, "Thank you Jayyyy… you told Sam to talk to my family and you knew they would never say no to Sam. I love you Jay."
Behind them, Keifer's happy expression slowly turned into a slightly dangerous aura.
"WHAT."
Cin froze.
"…as your both child?"
Everyone immediately smacked their heads.
Cin scratched the back of his neck.
"Hehe."
Rory shook his head watching them. "They share one brain cell."
Felix nodded. "And Jay is not always the one holding it."
Jay threw a cushion at them.
And just like that—
Watson Mansion was loud again
