Morning sunlight poured through the huge windows of Watson Mansion, turning the dining hall warm and golden. The table was a mess of pancakes, fruit bowls, toast, and coffee mugs — the kind of messy that meant everyone had already been laughing for a while.

Percy stood at the head of the table like a chef presenting his masterpiece.

"Look at this pancake," he announced proudly.

Jay leaned on the table, chin on her palm, watching him with a suspicious smile.

"What pancake?"

Percy froze.

"The one you just ate half of while flipping it?"

Michael nearly choked on his juice laughing.

"I SAW THAT."

Percy pointed his spatula dramatically.

"That was quality control."

Across the table Ava quietly pushed a strawberry into Michael's mouth before he could respond.

Michael blinked.

"…thank you."

rory whistled.

"Oh wow. Romance at breakfast."

Ava smirked while Michael tried to pretend he wasn't smiling.

On the other side of the table Freya was leaning against Edrix, watching Percy struggle.

Freya whispered,

"He's been cooking for ten minutes and eaten three pancakes already."

Edrix nodded seriously.

"Efficient system."

Meanwhile Calix and Mika sat calmly sharing coffee like the only normal people in the mansion.

Mika slid a plate toward him.

"You didn't eat."

Calix took the fork.

"Was waiting for you."

Across the table Rakki and Cin were anything but calm.

Cin grabbed Rakki's pancake.

Rakki smacked his hand.

"CIN."

"I was hungry!"

"You have your own plate!"

Cin grinned.

"Yours looked better."

She glared at him.

"If you steal my food again I'll break your fingers."

Cin looked at felix

"See? This is love."

felix raised his hands.

"I am not getting involved."

Back at the counter Percy slammed another pancake onto a plate.

"There."

"The perfect pancake."

David leaned back in his chair.

"Bro you ate half the batter before cooking."

Percy gasped.

"That is a false accusation."

Jay lifted her glass slowly.

"You literally drank the chocolate syrup straight from the bottle."

The room burst into laughter.

Percy pointed at her.

"TRAITOR."

David stretched in his chair.

"At least Percy stays awake while cooking."

Everyone turned to him.

Aries raised an eyebrow.

"Should we talk about your pasta incident?"

David frowned.

"What pasta incident?"

Rory lifted his head from the couch.

"You put pasta in boiling water."

David nodded confidently.

"Yes."

"You sat down."

"Yes."

"And then fell asleep for forty minutes."

Michael added dramatically,

"The pasta dissolved into soup."

Jay covered her face laughing.

David pointed at them.

"That happened once."

"Twice," Angelo corrected.

Raphael had been quietly drinking coffee the whole time.

Aries suddenly said,

"Raphael cooks though."

Percy nodded.

"Yeah but he cooks like a military commander."

Michael deepened his voice dramatically.

"'Chop onions. Move faster. The garlic is late.'"

Raphael slowly looked up.

Then suddenly someone whistled.

Everyone looked toward Angelo.

He was looking across the room with a slightly amused expression.

At Keifer.

Who had just walked in again with coffee.

Jay was sitting beside him now, talking about something quietly.

adam leaned toward samueland murmured,

"You notice something?"

samuel didn't look impressed. "What."

adam gestured subtly.

Keifer had one arm resting casually behind Jay's chair while listening to her talk.

Jay said something, and Keifer smiled slightly.

A rare thing.

adam smirked.

"Scary."

Raphael raised an eyebrow. "What is."

adam leaned back in his chair.

"The fact that the most dangerous guy in the room only listens to one person."

Jay suddenly looked up.

"Are you guys talking about us?"

Percy grinned. "Always."

Jay rolled her eyes.

Keifer glanced at them lazily.

"Problem?"

David raised his hands quickly. "Nope."

Cin whispered loudly, "See? That tone."

Jay elbowed Keifer lightly.

"Stop scaring them."

Keifer looked down at her.

"I'm not."

"You literally are."

michael leaned back again with a grin.

"Relax, Watson. We're just saying you've gone soft."

Keifer took a sip of coffee.

"No."

Then he added calmly,

"I just choose where to spend my patience."

Everyone immediately looked at Jay again.

Jay blinked. "Why are you all looking at me?"

Percy leaned toward her.

"Congratulations."

"For what?"

"You've domesticated a Watson."

The room exploded with laughter again.

Keifer looked mildly offended.

Jay looked horrified.

"I did not domesticate anyone."

Michael raised his hand.

"You absolutely did."

Ava nodded.

"100%."

Jay groaned and hid her face.

Meanwhile David had started looking at the ingredients like he was about to cook something.

Percy pointed at him immediately.

"No."

David frowned.

"What?"

"You are not allowed near the stove."

"Why?"

Aries leaned back in his chair.

"Because last time you cooked pasta."

David crossed his arms.

"And?"

Rory answered from the couch.

"You fell asleep."

The room exploded with laughter.

David pointed at them.

"That happened once."

Michael raised his hand.

"Twice."

Jay leaned toward Keifer, whispering dramatically,

"The pasta dissolved into sadness."

Keifer laughed quietly under his breath.

He had been standing behind her chair, one hand resting on the back of it.

He leaned closer slightly.

"You're enjoying this too much."

Jay whispered back,

"I'm documenting crimes."

Meanwhile Percy slammed another pancake on a plate.

"There."

"Perfect pancake."

Keifer picked one up calmly.

He took a bite.

Paused.

Then looked at Percy.

"…you ate ingredients before cooking."

The entire room screamed with laughter.

Percy pointed at everyone.

"Why is everyone against me today?!"

Aries stretched.

"Let's be honest though."

"Who cooks best here?"

And just like that—

Breakfast war started.

"Raphael cooks best."

"No Percy does."

"Keifer's steak though."

"Eman is literally the certified chef."

Eman slowly looked up from his plate.

"I did not sign up for this conversation."

Angelo pointed at him dramatically.

"That's why he's the certified chef of Section E."

Everyone started arguing louder.

Then Aries suddenly stopped.

His eyes slowly moved across the table.

Toward Jay.

Percy followed.

David followed.

Angelo followed.

Raphael followed.

One by one—

Everyone turned.

Jay froze mid sip.

"…why are you all staring at me?"

Percy leaned forward.

"You have eaten food cooked by every single one of us."

David pointed his fork.

"You decide."

Jay immediately stood up.

"Oh wow I think someone is calling me."

Angelo grabbed the back of her hoodie and pulled her back down.

"No escaping."

Jay sighed dramatically.

"You people are terrifying."

She pointed at Percy.

"You eat half the ingredients before cooking."

Percy clutched his chest.

"Betrayal."

She pointed at David.

"You fall asleep before food finishes."

David protested.

"Strategic resting!"

Jay pointed at Raphael.

"You cook like you're commanding soldiers."

Raphael didn't even deny it.

Then she pointed at Keifer.

"You cook like you're filming a luxury cooking show."

Keifer shrugged slightly.

"That's accurate."

Jay clapped.

"So clearly you're all terrifying."

"That's not a ranking," Aries said.

Jay stood up again.

"I think someone is—"

The morning at Watson Mansion had barely started when the front door suddenly opened.

Two suitcases rolled inside.

The people sitting in the living room looked up.

Keiren stepped in first, dragging a suitcase behind him and looking extremely offended at the world.

Behind him walked Keegan, quieter as usual, carrying another bag over his shoulder.

Both of them clearly looked like they had just come straight from the airport.

Aries blinked.

"…did you two just land?"

Keiren dropped the suitcase dramatically.

"YES."

Then he glared at everyone.

"Eight hour flight. Eight. Hours."

Michael leaned back on the couch.

"That's actually not that bad."

Keiren pointed at him.

"You sit in one place with crying babies, airplane food, and no sleep, then we'll talk."

Meanwhile Keegan calmly set the bags near the wall.

Raphael looked at him.

"You came straight here?"

Keegan nodded once.

"Yeah."

Then he looked around the room.

"…why does it smell like someone burned pancakes?"

Percy looked offended from the kitchen.

"I did not burn them."

David raised a hand.

"Technically he ate half the batter first."

Keiren immediately turned toward the kitchen.

"PANCAKES?"

Then he looked around the room in betrayal.

"ATEE JAY."

Everyone turned.

Atee Jay was sitting peacefully at the dining table eating.

Keiren pointed dramatically.

"WHY DID YOU EAT PANCAKES WITHOUT ME?"

Jay slowly looked up at him.

"You were in another country."

"That's not the point."

He walked toward the table and dropped into the chair beside her.

"I told you we eat breakfast together."

Jay shrugged.

"You were sleeping on a plane."

Keiren looked personally hurt.

Meanwhile Keegan quietly walked to the kitchen.

Percy slid a plate toward him.

"Pancake?"

Keegan nodded.

"Thanks.

And then—

Cin suddenly spoke.

Casual.

Too casual.

"By the way… I don't know why but I heard someone jumping from balconies last night."

The table went quiet.

Jay froze.

Cin continued dramatically,

"My room is literally next to Jay's."

He leaned forward.

"Jay… did you hear it too?"

Jay blinked.

"…what?"

Cin gasped.

"What if a thief entered?!"

Ava slowly stopped eating.

Michael looked up.

"…wait."

David, half asleep, muttered,

"Yeah… I heard something too…"

Now everyone was looking around.

Yuri. Aries. Percy.

All slowly turning their heads…

Toward Keifer.

Suspicious.

Very suspicious.

At the same time—

Raphael, Adam, Sam—

Their gaze shifted.

Toward Jay. Ava. Michael.

Even more suspicious.

Jay looked at Keifer.

Keifer looked at Jay.

Ava looked at Michael.

Michael looked like he wanted to disappear.

The tension was ridiculous.

Then—

Angelo spoke.

Sharp. Cold.

"Enough."

Silence.

He placed his spoon down slowly on the table—

like a weapon.

"From now on," he said calmly, "Jay and Ava will switch rooms."

Jay blinked.

"…what?"

Angelo didn't even look at her.

"You both will stay in my room."

"And we will take yours."

Keifer frowned slightly.

"There's no need for that."

Angelo's eyes snapped to him.

"I don't want thieves entering girls' rooms."

His tone dropped.

"Not in my watch."

Silence again.

Even Percy didn't move.

Jay looked down, trying not to smile.

Keifer exhaled slowly.

Then leaned slightly toward Jay.

Voice low.

"…balcony, really?"

Jay whispered back,

"I don't know what you're talking about."

He almost smiled.

Almost.

Then he straightened and looked toward the door.

"Keegan. Keiren."

Both looked up.

"Go freshen up."

He gestured toward the hallway.

"Your room is on the left."

Keegan nodded quietly.

Keiren picked up his suitcase again.

Still muttering—

"I missed pancakes for this drama…"

They walked upstairs.

The moment they disappeared—

the table exploded again.

Michael leaned toward Ava.

"WE ARE GETTING INVESTIGATED FOR NO REASON."

Ava whispered,

"Stop looking guilty then."

Cin grinned.

"I still think it was a thief."

Jay buried her face in her hands.

"This house is insane."

Keifer leaned slightly closer again.

Quiet.

Teasing.

"And yet you're the problem."

Jay looked at him.

"You're literally involved."

He smirked faintly.

"Allegedly."

And across the table—

Angelo was still watching.

Sharp.

Suspicious.
