Chapter 271: Arrival at Sea God Island
"I understand, Captain. Please be careful."
After bidding farewell to the crew, Purple Pearl began fulfilling her duties and quickly prepared lunch for everyone.
As the food was brought to the table, Du Guxian and the others all awkwardly looked away, afraid to see Ning Bei's mocking expression.
With Purple Pearl as the cook, life became much easier for the group. The Soul Guidance Ship sailed for several days before reaching the outskirts of Sea God Island, at which point Purple Pearl stopped the journey.
"We can't go any further. Ahead, there are island guardian beasts. If we continue forward, they will attack us," she said.
"Guardian beasts? What are they? Are they strong?" Ning Rongrong asked with confusion. With her brother by her side, she wasn't afraid.
"They are Magic Soul Great White Sharks, a ten-thousand-year soul beast, specially guarding Sea God Island from intruders."

She stomped furiously on the deck to vent her frustration.

"Ha-ha, that's why she's called Purple Pearl, right?" Ning Bei teased, but a small mischievous smile played on his lips. Meanwhile, Ning Bei himself had gained some inspiration from this little trick.
The "curse" was fake, but perhaps he could actually develop this as a skill? He might even use something similar to the Death Symbol from Tianshan Tonglao for his seventh trial.
Once underwater, the glow of the Han Hai Qian Kun shield spread out, isolating the sea water. The fish swimming by fascinated them, as they had been living on land for so long.
"Nami , your shield even has a diving function?"
"Yes, the Han Hai Qian Kun shield is essentially a type of soul guidance device, but it has some additional functions."
Nami continued explaining the shield's abilities while controlling the water flow to propel everyone toward Sea God Island. Along the way, they saw several Magic Soul Great White Sharks, which were most likely the island's guardian beasts.
At first, everyone was tense seeing these soul beasts, as this was their domain, but after a while, they realized the sharks didn't even notice them.
Ning Rongrong and Xiao Wu instantly remembered that Nami had mentioned the Han Hai Qian Kun shield also had the ability to turn invisible and block the perception of powerful beings. It seemed the soul beasts' perception was also blocked.
This saved them a lot of trouble. Half an hour later, they had successfully passed through the Magic Soul Great White Shark territory and entered the waters surrounding Sea God Island.
Nami controlled the shield to rise to the surface, and as soon as they reached the sea, everyone, including Du Guxian, looked around like curious children, marveling at the scenery of Sea God Island.

"I'm asking you a question! Who are you? Fine, I don't care who you are, leave Sea Maiden City right now, or else don't blame me for being rude."
The woman's body released two yellow, two purple, and three black soul rings, indicating she was a Soul Saint.
Her words angered the group. They hadn't even explained their intentions, yet she wanted to chase them away?
Seeing the tension in the air, Ning Bei stepped forward and cupped his hands.
"Miss, we are soul masters from the mainland. We came to Sea God Island to undergo the Sea God's Trial, not to cause trouble."
