After calling out for Liz several more times, Serena eventually gave up and decided to just do some training instead. She kept the exercises simple because her space to train was limited and wanted to build up her body.
Once her body had a light coat of sweat covering it, Serena took a break and sat down on the white room floor. She drank some water from her water skin before using the rest to cool her body down.
"Open System Shop." Serena commanded, hoping she didn't need Liz around to access the shop.
She needed to get the guide books now that the Council approved her plan to start filling in her knowledge gaps. And she certainly had no time to deal with a temperamental system.
Thankfully the system shop popped up as normal, so Serena didn't need to worry much. She began searching for the guides she planned to get, buying every one she found.
