Serena covered the strange feeling object in her hand and glanced over at Theo and Kiro. The tiger beastman was back to snoozing, rest apparently helping with healing his wounds.
Meanwhile, Kiro was playing around the firewood pile, the place quickly becoming his favorite part. Seeing that both were distracted, Serena slipped inside the hut and opened her hands again.
She glanced down to find a small blue lizard in her hands. Everything inside her screamed to chuck the creature away, but she resisted the urge, biting her lip to stop herself from making a noise.
The lizard smiled at her and exclaimed in a robotic voice, "Hello Host! I'm System 2.0, an improved version of your system. ^*^&fgre*H found that you were not using the system to its full potential and sent me to better guide you through your journey."
