Chapter 227 - The Gentle Doctor Hulk

Norway, a remote village near the coast.

The original inhabitants of the village had been gradually moved away over the past period.

In their place, came the people of Asgard.

In fact, this small village was originally a place established by Asgard on Midgard (Earth) for supervision and protection of Earth.

In the past years, Odin, the God King, conquered the Nine Realms and established such existences in every place of the Nine Realms.

However, as time passed, the people of Asgard had long withdrawn from here.

The residents of the village had also gone through some rotations in the midst of the war.

So, the people in this village only vaguely knew that something secret had existed there a long time ago, but they didn't know what it was.

Until several years ago, Odin, the God-King, foresaw the coming of Ragnarok.

He found this village again and began to gradually relocate the original inhabitants to the outside.

During the Infinity War, Asgardian refugees who came to Earth settled in this village.

The village was renamed Asgard Village.

Now, Asgard Village can be roughly divided into two parts structurally.

The outermost circle, with ordinary houses scattered about, is where the ordinary Asgardian people live.

Although they are the so-called gods, they are not much different from ordinary Earthlings, except that they are stronger and live longer.

They didn't possess the formidable abilities of Thor and Loki either.

On the hillside at the center of the Asgard village stood a medieval castle.

Castles like this were commonplace in Europe, so it didn't immediately draw much attention.

However, it was now the new palace of the Asgard royal family.

The people of Asgard unanimously agreed that Thor, the former God of Thunder and now the King of Asgard, should reside here.

But, because Thor had previously departed for the Dwarf Star.

So, currently, the castle was inhabited by several of the King of Asgard's "servants".

Such as the stone man, the green giant, and the bug-like man.

Anyway, they all look strange.

Yeah, you're right. That green giant is the Hulk.

Because in Avengers: Age of Ultron, the Hulk's mind was controlled by Wanda, causing him to wreak havoc on the streets, which made him very remorseful.

Although he left Earth for a long time, when he returned, he accidentally found a lot of negative comments about him online.

And at this time, the Hulk found that he couldn't change back into Doctor Banner anymore.

So, the gentle Hulk decided to find a place to hide, so as not to scare those ordinary people.

After some time, he came to Asgard Village.

At least in Asgard Village, he still had those gladiator partners who fought with him in the Grandmaster's arena, and the Asgardian people who wouldn't be afraid of him.

There didn't seem to be a better place for him than here on Earth.

After leaving the Avengers headquarters, Peter went back to his place and rested for a night before going back to school as usual for a few days.

During these few days, he went to school while also searching for information in the school library, trying to crack the nano-robot suit himself.

However, things didn't go as he wished.

Scientific research wasn't something that could be achieved overnight.

Many times, scientific research wasn't about a flash of inspiration, but rather on solid basic skills. Only by standing on the shoulders of the wisdom of those before, could one see further.

Although Peter was smart, his basic knowledge was still lacking.

Perhaps if he could have inherited all the knowledge from the Golden Haired Spider-Man, he could have handled these things himself now.

But what the Golden Haired Spider-Man gave him was only a small part of the vast knowledge he possessed.

To be able to research the properties of the Infinity Gauntlet and create a disposable version is actually quite remarkable.

So, after days of research yielded no breakthroughs...

On this day, Peter gave Nova a thorough workout and assigned him tasks for the next few days, telling him he would remotely supervise his progress.

Then, he once again used the "Supreme Sorcerer's Portal" and arrived at the Asgard village in Norway.

The portal opened on the beach near the Asgard village.

Peter was speechless.

This was obviously Strange's prank.

It was just to get back at Peter for always using him as a portal ambassador.

Otherwise, since there were no high-level divine magic barriers protecting Asgard village, Strange could have easily opened the portal directly inside the castle, or at the castle entrance.

And now.

Peter looked up, estimating he was several thousand meters from the castle located halfway up the mountain.

"Forget it, I'll just walk over there myself. Might as well take a look at what this Asgard village is like."

Peter started walking.

He hadn't gone far when he saw a group of people playing on the beach not far ahead.

Standing in the middle of the crowd was a tall, exceptionally burly, green-skinned strongman – who else could it be but Hulk?

Around Hulk were over a dozen children.

Both boys and girls.

They were using sand to build sandcastles on the beach.

The castle's style was a bit strange, although it was also in the style of a medieval castle, it wasn't the one currently standing on the hillside.

Peter thought for a moment and understood; it was probably Asgardian architecture.

Hulk was sitting on the sand, wearing only a pair of beach pants and a floral shirt. His huge green palms didn't seem clumsy at all; they were quite agile.

He was also wearing a pair of glasses, which made him look very refined.

When Peter got closer, he was carefully decorating the windows of a building for a little girl.

"Should I call you Hulk? Or Doctor Banner?" Peter put away his Spider-Suit; he also seemed very relaxed in this environment.

"Call me Doctor Hulk," Doctor Hulk looked up at Peter, giving him a warm smile, "Want to join in?"

"Sure," Peter came to a little boy and squatted down, "What's your name? Do you need my help?"

The little boy with brown hair looked at Peter and said, "Hello, I'm Vidar. Thank you for your help, but I can manage on my own."

With that, he continued his work.

Peter squatted beside him, curious, "What are you doing? It doesn't seem like a palace, does it?"

Vidar's "sand sculptures" were all pillar-like structures, but they didn't quite look like pillars.

Without looking up, Vidar replied, "I'm creating a forest. This is the vast Eternal Forest of Asgard, but it was destroyed in the sea of fire. I hope to become the guardian spirit of the Eternal Forest."

Peter was stunned.

He noticed that when Vidar was speaking, energy fluctuations seemed to emanate from his body!
