(Dosu's POV)
Dosu was walking calmly through the village, his light steps following his noisy trio of students.
Kenta, Ryuchi, and Nanami walked ahead of him, the three didn't seem much different at first glance from a month before, but they certainly were.
Ryuta's steps were lighter, his environmental awareness even clearer, Dosu picked up a small stone at some point and threw it at Ryuta's back.
Ryuta moved quickly, dodging to the side and letting the rock pass by him calmly. This didn't surprise Ryuta in the slightest, Dosu had been inspired by Jugo's "training" for Sasuke and had been continuously attacking Ryuta randomly ever since, which had made the boy's progress accelerate rapidly.
Nanami and Kenta broke out in a cold sweat, relieved that it wasn't Dosu who had trained them, but the next moment, two small stones struck them both on the head.
-Ouch!- Kenta bent over, clutching his head in pain. Nanami also pursed her lips in pain, but she didn't overreact, instead, she simply brought her hand to her head and began to heal herself.
Dosu shook his head, although Nanami and Kenta had grown stronger, in terms of pure environmental awareness, they were still far behind Ryuta.
-Sensei! That hurts so much!- Kenta stood up, shouting at Dosu.
Dosu snorted slightly and ignored him, continuing to walk.
Dosu's single eye glanced at Kenta, the boy had more toned muscles and had also recovered quickly from the pain. Although he was still a target, it was better than nothing. Fortunately, he was going into a one-on-one fight.
Nanami, on the other hand, improved the least in terms of combat, but her chakra control improved the most.
The chances for all three were still slim, but the progress was evident.
-Hey, Dosu!- A voice pulled Dosu from his train of thought. He turned slowly, looking at the approaching figure. Actually, there were more than one figure, there were three, or four, it was hard to tell.
Behind him, Kidoumaru waved to him, and beside him, Jirobo and Ukon followed closely.
Kenta trembled as soon as he saw Jirobo, but Jirobo merely narrowed his eyes at him before ignoring him.
Dosu simply nodded slightly, saying. -You three, what do you want?
Kidoumaru rolled his eyes and said. -Don't be so direct, you won't find a girlfriend that way.
Dosu looked at Kidoumaru's many arms, at Jirobo, a fat fellow who looked like a bandit, and at the pair of twins clinging to each other, and for a moment he didn't know how to respond.
"It seems that finding a girlfriend is even more difficult for you guys." - Dosu thought, but he only shrugged in response.
-We're going to check on Tayuya, do you want to come?- Kidoumaru asked, raising an eyebrow and sporting a mischievous grin.
He approached quickly, putting one arm around Dosu's neck and saying. -Dude, you should see that girl, ever since she found love, she seems like a different person.
-She finally became feminine.- Jirobo added.
Ukon, who was controlling the body at that moment, scoffed, finding it all very boring, if it hadn't been for being dragged along by Kidoumaru, he wouldn't have come.
Dosu just wanted to shake his head, he wasn't interested in Tayuya's life either, but before he could answer, two animated figures appeared before him.
-We're going!- Nanami shouted with an amused smile.
Kenta also raised a fist in the air and shouted. -Sounds fun, let's go! Yahooo!
(A/N: For a moment I thought of Kenta yelling like Black Star(Soul Eater) and I couldn't resist adding "yahoo", lmao.)
Dosu looked at those idiotic students and sighed softly. - All right.
Ryuta, standing beside him, seemed indifferent on the outside, but inside he was curious too.
Minutes later, the sound "trio", Dosu and his students, were hiding on a rooftop outside a restaurant. Inside, Utakata and Tayuya were seen conversing at a table.
Tayuya had styled her hair in a high bun and was wearing a purple Yukata with red stripes. Her eyes had lost that dangerous look and seemed more embarrassed. She constantly fidgeted in her seat, as if something were poking her behind.
It was obvious that she was nervous.
Seeing Tayuya like that, even Ukon and Sakon, who only stuck his head forward to look, were speechless.
-Is that really Tayuya?- Sakon asked rhetorically, with evident disbelief.
-Yes, I really think she was replaced by a spy.- Ukon agreed.
-For some reason, I feel that Tayuya is even scarier than the previous one.- Jirobo said.
-It's almost like seeing a bear wearing a dress and acting like a sweet girl.- Kidoumaru's smile faded, as he felt he shouldn't be there.
Dosu didn't comment, his single eye completely uninterested.
Kenta glanced at Nanami "hidden", feeling that he wanted to invite Nanami to eat as well.
Nanami seemed oblivious, staring at Tayuya with curiosity and excitement. It was like watching a real-life romance novel, two ninjas from enemy villages in a forbidden love story. She trembled with excitement.
Ryuta watched for a while before losing interest, it was just two people talking, nothing new.
-Well, I kind of regret coming here.- Kidoumaru sighed.
-Alright, let's go.- Jirobo agreed, his sinister face contorted in disgust.
The others agreed and quickly prepared to flee, but at that moment two hands grabbed Jirobo and Kidoumaru's heads.
The pair stopped, surprised, looking at Tayuya who had appeared at some point, giving them a gentle smile, unfortunately, whether it was Kidoumaru or Jirobo, neither of them felt any positive emotion from that smile.
Kidoumaru forced a smile, sweating profusely. -Hey, Tayuya...
He couldn't finish speaking, Tayuya forcefully hit Kidoumaru and Jirobo on the head.
She turned her head to Ukon and Sakon, who were also sweating profusely, as well as the two brats beside him, Nanami and Kenta, who looked embarrassed, with their heads down.
As for Dosu and Ryuta? Dosu ran away as soon as he heard Tayuya approaching, but Ryuta, who had been training with the master for a month, followed him soon after, very pleased with the results of his training.
