Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: New Home[2]

"What?!"

Hua Ling was stupefied on hearing Han Yu's words.

The man in front of her whom she wanted nothing more than him leaving the house is now suddenly asking to live at her house.

How could she agree to such a thing.

"No, no, absolutely not!!"

Hua shouted.

Han Yu didn't pay attention to her words and looked towards her mother who seemed to be in deep thought at the moment.

"As expected it's not going to be easy..."

After remaining silent for sometime she spoke....

"I need to talk to her father before coming to a decision."

"You will need to wait till night time, we will talk when her father comes back from work."

On hearing her words, the corners of Han Yu's lips curled upwards as he smiled and said in a humble tone...

"It's okay miss, I will wait for your answer."

On hearing his words Hua's mother stood up and said

"We should leave now, you can call Hua or me if you need anything."

"Hua, let him rest and come with me."

Obeying her mother Hua who was staring at Han Yu as if she wanted to eat him alive stood up and walked out of the room leaving Han Yu all alone.

'Now I can only hope for mister to agree'

Although Han Yu had acquired Hao Ching's inheritance, he only acquired his knowledge.

He lacked resources to put that knowledge in use. The inheritance consisted of recipes of some artifacts, places where one could find siemen materials and basic knowledge on using siemen energy and advancing rank.

And the best thing was that Hao Ching's siemen nature was also abyss.

So Han Yu could make use his knowledge efficiently as it was a perfect match for him.

But...

'I lack resources goddammit!!'

In this world siemen stones were used as currency.

For mortals(people without an aptitude) it was only currency but for siemen masters it was more than just a currency.

It had many uses, like recovering siemen energy and were also used in creating artifacts.

But Han Yu was broke for now. He had nothing on him other than the clothes he was currently wearing.

So he decided to live in the village he was in and earn something until he becomes able to visit the places he saw in Hao Ching's inheritance. According to the inheritance, he could find some resources useful to him there.

He had also thought of increasing his rank to atleast rank 3 until the time comes for him to leave the village.

But...

'If mister didn't agree, things will become complicated...'

If Hua King's father didn't allow him to stay at his house, he will have no choice but to roam around the village until he gets a job.

It was troublesome....

....

It was nighttime. Some people were sitting in a hall, two of them facing each other, they were Han Yu and Hua's father.

"So, you want to live in our house?"

Hua's father asked in a serious tone.

"Uh, yes..."

Han Yu replied nervously.

Hua's father was slim and had an average face, not very handsome but not very ugly either. He seemed to be in his 40s.

Right now, he had a serious look on his face.

"Hmmm"

"So you are telling me to help you get a job and allow you to live in my house."

"Yes, that's exactly what I request of you."

Since Han Yu was broke and had nowhere to go, he could only become self dependent by getting a job and somehow getting a roof over his head. For now the best outcome would be to get permission to live in Hua's house.

Else he will have to spend some days sleeping on streets.

"What do you do the best?"

On hearing the question Han Yu felt joy rising from his heart. From the looks of it, Hua's father was considering his request.

Of course, not everyone was happy about it...

"Father! Are you seriously considering it?!"

Hua Ling retorted.

"Shut up Hua!"

Hua's mother scolded her.

Hua Ling gritted her teeth and stopped speaking.

Silence returned to the room but was soon broken by Han Yu's words...

"I specialise in fighting."

He said with confidence.

Although Han Yu was exiled from the village soon after he became a siemen master, he was throughly trained in hand to hand combat by siemen masters. This was one of the advantages he had as a prodigy.

It's the best he could possibly do.

"Oh"

" I suppose I could get you a suitable job."

Hua's father said

"Than.."

"But..."

Hua's father paused.

"I cannot allow you to live in my house for free."

Hearing his words, Han Yu's brows furrowed.

Although he had expected this kind of situation he still had hope which was now shattered at this moment.

"I would need you to compensate me for living in this house."

'Well, atleast it's better than just getting straight up rejected.'

Han Yu pretended to think for a minute before opening his mouth

"I will compensate you with a part of my salary."
