Waking up to find Kash in front of me, remembering everything from the past day and a half, and then learning that my husband had always known I was a lycan, yet had never mocked me, punished me, or locked me away for it, left me in a different kind of shock.
It felt like I was moving through a new set of emotions all at once. I kept studying his face for several long moments after he told me he knew my secret.
He also said he had spoken to my father about it, which I did not know how to feel about, since my father had never told me.
"My father must be so worried," I said quietly, looking away from Kash.
I did not ask him to remove the restraints. I was still scared for the people in the mansion, for my children, and for anyone near me.
"Walkin told him you're stable, but your father will come in the morning. He'll explain what happened during your first transition and what to expect," Kash replied, holding the glass of juice in his hand.
