I was currently in my study, writing down future lesson plans for the students and making sure all future plans were up to date.
But as I wrote, a gnawing feeling gripped the back of my throat, and for the first time in a long time, I felt fear.
Placing down my quill, I took a deep breath and got up from my seat, walking over to the window and looking towards the city of Pentagram.
As I calmed down, I opened a portal to a location most would see as... heretical.
Stepping through the portal, I entered my laboratory. It was filled with multiple dead and dying demons in chains, but most importantly, my research board.
Turning on the lights revealed my past and current research upon the newly appointed Prince of Hell.
I didn't have much to go off, since if we were to do anything towards the royal family, the King and Queen would do everything in their power to punish those who harmed their child.
But with my constant exposure to the young Prince and further research on the matter, I've landed upon multiple conclusions:
1. The new Prince is a mutation born from the deepest parts of Hell.
2. The Prince is a homunculus created by the King and Queen, since they adopted him rather quickly and without notice. This is supported by the fact he possesses little to no emotion.
3. The Prince is an angel from Heaven who somehow ended up in Hell, as he usually ends disputes among students with no incentive to do so.
4. The Prince may be a small fraction of God. From gathering information necessary to support this claim and spying on the royal family using my ravens, I've concluded that the Prince has a major sway in the decisions made by those above.
Further study is still needed to confirm any of these claims, and in time, his secret shall be revealed.
And I shall be the one to find out what that secret is.
Turning off the lights and teleporting back, I ended up once again in my study and began finishing up my paperwork.
