I was currently back home in the castle after I had just finished my usual training with Shakra and… speaking of Shakra, she's been rather happy and open about us dating, telling almost everyone we meet that remotely asks what we were.
At first it was really weird for me since I didn't really enjoy the spotlight, but over time I sort of kinda got used to it.
And now I'm just wondering what Shakra and I could do for a second date. I mean, it doesn't have to be anything fancy since she insisted she wanted to take charge for our next, so I guess there's nothing really much for me to do but wait.
So might as well just visit baby bro. I know I've just gotten back from their kingdom and all, but I don't really have anything to do here besides… yeah, I really don't have anything to do here.
Dad's always either hanging out with bro's biological parents or with Mom during her concerts all throughout Hell.
Mom's always either visiting the Karmelita—was that her name? Or Marissa? I don't really enjoy opera, but I do enjoy watching this really funny demon named TROBBIO!
His shows are always so flashy and spectacular. The plays would always end in a dramatic fashion that never gets old.
But enough distractions—time to visit bro.
Looking down on my wrist, I started rubbing the Asmodean crystal Dad gave me so I could visit bro's kingdom whenever I liked.
But as I rubbed it and thought of my brother's office, it didn't seem to open the portal. With a sigh I moved it closer to my mouth and began giving it tongue.
Using my snake-like tongue, I began to circle and lick the crystal with the same vigor I used when I… gave Shakra a good time.
And after only a few seconds, a diamond-shaped portal finally opened, and I simply walked through it.
Once I was through and inside the meeting hall of the castle, I started making my way toward my brother's office, and upon reaching his door, I heard a faint sound of someone singing.
It didn't sound like bro, so I knew there was only one thing I needed to do… investigate!
Opening the doors slowly to see who was singing, I was left dumbfounded when I saw my baby brother. Singing!
His voice was completely different when he's talking, and he's singing about… marriage! Oh my God! My brother's getting married! To someone named… Emily! Who's Emily?
Listening to him more, I found out that he seems to be worried about telling Bee about this whole debacle and being afraid to die.
As he finally finished the song, I couldn't help but clap at the absolutely amazing performance he just did.
"Charlie? What are you doing here?" Brother asked, confused.
"Well, I was visiting, and I kinda sort of… heard everything," I tell him sheepishly.
"Sigh, Charlie. I don't really have time to talk right now. Go home," he says, looking down.
He begins walking toward me to lead me out, but I wasn't going to let him.
"Wait a minute!" I raised my hands toward him, which caused him to stop in his tracks.
"What is it, Charlie?"
"You know I could help you, right? Like telling Bee about the wedding?" I tell him.
"Charlie… I don't think I can tell her… not right now."
"Come on! She deserves to know! And besides, you can't really hide something like this forever!"
"I know… but I need to think of what to say that doesn't… hurt her."
As he said this, he looked rather down, and being the big sister, I needed to help!
Walking closer to him, I grabbed both his hands and looked him directly in the eyes.

CHARLIE (spoken, holding Stygian's hand):
Stygian, I know you.
You can negotiate with angels, rewrite infernal laws,
balance a century of paperwork before breakfast—
but when it comes to telling Bee one honest sentence?
Suddenly you're… hesitating.
So let big sister help you out.
---
Verse 1
You stride through life like nothing shakes you,
Wings steady in a hurricane—
You handle councils, treaties, tempers,
And never once complain.
You sort through forms like flowing water,
You charm a room just by walking in—
Politics? You've mastered them.
But feelings aren't so easy to begin.
---
Pre-Chorus
'Cause you're not scared,
You're not worried,
You're just… guarded by default.
But truth requires openness—
And that's your one soft spot.
---
Chorus
So just be honest, Stygian!
That's all she needs to hear from him!
You're calm and cool in every crisis,
But emotions make your edges thin.
Just be honest, Stygian!
No firestorm, no threat, no sin.
It's politics—
Not romance—
And she deserves the truth within.
So just be honest.
Simple, clean.
No drama in between.
---
Verse 2
You've led an army without flinching,
Reviewed ten thousand forms with grace—
You'd lecture Heaven on efficiency
While never losing pace.
You've stared down Dad in one of those moods,
You've balanced Hell's entire court—
But when Bee's involved, your words get stuck,
'Cause feelings aren't your strongest sport.
---
Pre-Chorus
Not from fear.
Not from doubt.
Just from caring more than you'll say out loud.
And she can take the truth from you—
She's earned it, loud and proud.
---
Chorus
So just be honest, Stygian!
Tell her what the council's planning then!
You're not beholden, not enchanted—
This isn't love, it's just an agreement.
Just be honest, Stygian!
You're not the type to break or bend.
She'll huff, she'll spark,
But she'll understand—
She's your partner, not your end.
So just be honest.
Let her in.
That's where trust begins.
---
Bridge
You're steady as stone,
You're balanced as night—
But caring makes even the strongest
Fumble for the right words to say.
Bee isn't fragile,
Bee isn't blind—
She knows your heart
Even when you keep it tucked behind your pride.
---
Final Chorus
So be honest, Stygian!
Not brave, not bold—just clear again!
You've handled Hell with perfect order,
You can handle love without a wince.
Just be honest, Stygian!
Tell her before assumptions spin.
You're hers in truth,
She's yours in fire—
No marriage pact can steal that kin.
So just be honest—
Warm and real.
Let her know just how you feel.
CHARLIE (spoken, smiling):
See?
No fear.
Just truth.
Now go tell Bee… before she bursts in here first.
---
Finally letting go of him, we stood in the center of his office, and looking up at his face once more, he seemed happier and simply more confident.
"Thanks for being here, Charlie, and thank you for saying what I needed to hear," he tells me with a smile.
"Anytime! Now if you'll excuse me, I'll be going back home to prepare for the wedding!" I tell him excitedly.
"Sure, Charlie. Just make sure no one else knows until I tell Bee, okay?"
"You got it!" I give him a salute.
He smiled before turning away from me and opening one of those freaky rifts he uses to get around. Once he finally stepped through and I was left alone, I looked down at my very own freaky way of teleporting and started licking.

Note: do not lick random rocks you find.
