Moren called Zane from the phone log after midnight.
"Hello, is that Moren?"
"Yeah, you don't sound like you were sleeping." Moren let out a light chuckle.
"How could I fall asleep," Zane's voice felt anxious, "I was so worried."
"Don't worry my parents don't object to our relationship." Moren looked out of his window at the big tree in the backyard.
"Really!" Zane's sigh could be heard clearly, "Thank God, I was getting ready to be Prince Saleem."
"But I am not Anarkali!"
"Exactly, you are my handsome prince. Moreover, things didn't work out for them, but I will make everything work out for us."
"I don't want to hang up but I have to head for work early in the morning," Moren suggested carefully.
"Yeah, that's understandable. Thanks for calling. Now I will sleep peacefully. Goodnight, my handsome prince."
"Good night," Moren was smiling all along. He let out a deep breath and got on his bed before turning off his lights.
