Kawaki was eventually adopted by the Seventh Hokage, Uzumaki Naruto.
Ōtsutsuki Isshiki had no choice but to control Jigen and attempt to retrieve Kawaki.
However, he was attacked by Naruto and Sasuke working together.
Under pressure, Isshiki temporarily revived in Jigen's body and unleashed his true power.
