The sunlight had barely touched the curtains when Hye-rin's phone buzzed.
She squinted against the glow, half-buried under the blanket.
Lee Joon-hyuk: Dress up and meet me at the resort car park. Thirty minutes.
She blinked. Once. Twice. Then turned to Se-hee, still cocooned beside her.
"Se-hee... he texted me," she whispered, shaking her friend's arm.
"Hmm?" Se-hee groaned, eyes half-open. "Who?"
"Who else? The CEO of sudden summons."
At that, Se-hee cracked one eye open, smirking. "Already giving orders before breakfast? Sounds romantic."
"It sounds annoying," Hye-rin muttered, though her cheeks were already warm.
Se-hee chuckled, rolling back over. "Go on, fiancée. Maybe he's planning a surprise."
"Yeah, like a company meeting."
Still, she got up — after all, refusing him never ended well. Thirty minutes later, dressed in a neat cream blouse, black skirt, and low heels, she headed to the car park.
