Chapter 54 - Chapter 53 He's Too Strong

"You wouldn't think you could get away with this, would you, Batman?"

While this could make Poison Ivy hesitant to act, the gas would dissipate.

Moreover, Batman couldn't just stay here indefinitely with Poison Ivy; he dared to do this because he had already thought of a contingency plan.

"Your contingency plan is me?"

Dane's voice rang out from behind everyone. A flash of magic light, and he arrived at the botanical garden.

It turned out that the moment Batman saw Superman, he activated his emergency communication line, directly calling Dane's signal device.

Poison Ivy's expression immediately changed.

"I heard she's under your care?" Batman said expressionlessly.

Catwoman seemed to have heard some gossip, looking back and forth between Poison Ivy and the newly arrived ~ handsome guy.

Dane looked at Poison Ivy: "Is this what you meant by — not causing trouble?"

"I didn't." Poison Ivy avoided his gaze, feeling a bit guilty.

Then she cunningly raised her head, "I'm curious, who is stronger, you or Superman?"

Clark seemed to receive a command and instantly rushed towards Dane.

Mercury's Divine Speed suddenly activated, and Dane punched him, sending him flying.

"I'll deal with you later."

Dane said, then stunned Poison Ivy with a bolt of lightning.

In the distance, Clark charged again.

He dived at super speed, and Dane met him with Divine Speed.

Fists met, and an Impact spread like an explosion.

The glass of surrounding buildings shattered, and dozens of stories of broken glass poured down to the ground like a waterfall.

This won't do; innocent people will be hurt.

Facing Dane, Clark didn't show the same mercy he did to Batman.

Because he subconsciously knew that this was an opponent he might not be able to defeat even with full strength.

So he attacked almost mercilessly!

Dane used both hands, one gripping Clark's face and the other grabbing his arm, flying at Divine Speed.

He took him to a place far from the city, and in Arkham City, he slammed Clark's head into the ground.

Using the friction of the ground to polish Superman's face, after more than ten seconds, he threw Clark down.

The man of steel crashed to the ground, causing a giant sound like an earthquake.

As Clark just raised his head, Dane clasped his hands together and slammed them down on his head, and the Richter scale climbed again.

Clark plunged headfirst into the ground, remaining stunned for a long time.

Dane was so excited; normally, out of brotherly affection, he wouldn't have dared to hit so hard, but now he had found an opportunity.

He grabbed Clark's ankle with one hand, easily pulling him out.

With Clark upside down, he delivered another punch to his face.

Clark's body crashed into a distant abandoned building, and the floors collapsed like dominoes, burying him.

The next moment, two red rays shot out from the ruins, hitting Dane squarely in the chest and sending him flying.

Clark's body burst out of the ruins, flying towards Dane with a sonic boom.

Then a heavy punch landed!

Boom—!

Like the muffled roar of thunder, Dane caught Clark's enraged punch with one hand.

It had been almost two years since he gained the Shazam Force, and Dane had long discovered that this power was unique.

The Wizard Shazam was a genius; he not only took half of each god's power but also, to prevent them from reclaiming it, he imbued the Shazam Force with thought.

In other words, the Shazam Force is alive!

And a living being, it naturally grows.

It also has joys, sorrows, anger, dislikes, and preferences.

When the Shazam Force is compatible with its host, it is overjoyed and can naturally help the host unleash its maximum power.

When the Shazam Force dislikes its host, it can only exert its most basic power, and sometimes even goes on strike.

Dane speculated that Billy's Wisdom of Solomon not working well might be related to his incompatibility with it.

He was not a child who loved to learn.

But Dane had a strong thirst for knowledge and loved to learn, so Solomon's Wisdom was very fond of him.

Similarly, when Dane was fully immersed in battle.

The divine power related to combat would fully respond to his expectations, granting him the strongest power!

Looking at the stunned Clark, Dane's lips curled into a warlike smile.

"My turn!"

Blazing White lightning enveloped his fist, and Zeus's divine power was tightly held in his hand.

Hercules's strength, let this Kryptonian witness it.

—What it means to wield the power to lift the heavens!

This punch was unavoidable; Clark could only hastily block with his hands.

The entire Gotham City, from Burnley District to Suicide Slum, heard an explosion from Arkham City.

Then they felt the ground tremble as if an earthquake had occurred. Was it an earthquake?

There were an unusual number of earthquakes tonight.

Then someone saw something flying into the sky, so he pulled out his phone, ready to film it and post it on Kuaishou.

But the smartphone cameras of this era weren't high enough resolution, the picture was blurry, and nothing could be seen clearly.

Especially since it was night, the picture was even worse.

"This crappy phone, crappy image quality..."

Then very quickly, someone else saw something else ascending with the first object, and some people began to suspect it was some kind of multiple-launch missile.

Meanwhile, Batman, who was still in the botanical garden, had captured the incapacitated Poison Ivy and began to interrogate her.

"You should know, no one can protect your plants now."

Batman once again used his tried-and-true old trick, threatening Poison Ivy with Gotham's plants.

"OK, stop it! I'll tell you."

Poison Ivy capitulated again, reluctantly agreeing to cooperate.

Batman struck while the iron was hot: "Who arranged all of this?"

"I don't know his name, and I don't know what he looks like."

"He calls himself Hush, and he's a man wrapped in bandages from head to toe."

"Hush?" Batman silently chewed on the name, a character who had never appeared in Gotham before.

"Why are you working for him? And where is the 10 million?"

"I have a friend, and Hush captured her. I had no choice but to save her," Poison Ivy said helplessly.

Heaven knows, she had truly intended to turn over a new leaf, and had even made plans with Barbara.

Who knew she would get caught up in this incident.

"Do you have any more to add about this Hush? Like his contact information?"

"For example, is he someone you know?"

"He's definitely not someone I know, Batman, but without a doubt, he belongs to Gotham."

Poison Ivy smiled; there weren't many enemies who could give Batman a headache.

The Joker used to be one, but the Joker was dead.

Thinking of this, Poison Ivy's fear of Dane increased, because it was this man who had unhesitatingly killed the Joker.

If she didn't obey, would Dane also kill her without hesitation?

Just then, the transparent glass roof of the botanical garden cracked.

Dane, carrying the unconscious Clark with one hand, flew into the garden through the broken opening.

Batman looked up at Clark's current state and silently upgraded Dane's threat level.

This man was indeed very dangerous; he was too strong!
