Chapter 254 - Chapter 253 Faora Joins the Battle!

Dane noticed that there were golden bloodstains on Hades's bident.

This guy is ruthless. He probably took the opportunity to kill Odin just now, didn't he?

Dane used the axe handle to deflect the bident with minimal effort.

However, Hades, seeing the axe up close, finally confirmed that he hadn't misidentified it earlier.

Isn't this Ares's battle-axe?

"What did you do to Ares?"

Dane flashed a mouthful of White teeth at him and smiled: "Killed him!"

He got counter-killed like that? What was Ares even doing?

Hades cursed his unreliable teammate in his heart. He felt no anger about Ares's "Death"; their relationship was always lukewarm. He was just annoyed that Ares had held them back.

If a person dies, they die. But what's the meaning of giving your weapon and divine power to the enemy?

But there was no choice. Since things had come to this, they could only continue. There was no possibility of reconciliation between them.

Hades's peripheral vision caught sight of the lightning on the distant battlefield, which even he couldn't see, and a rare trace of annoyance rose in his heart.

If he had captured that little boy earlier and absorbed his power, perhaps things would be easier now.

So, amidst the swirling sand, Hades and Dane began their fierce battle!

This was Hell; they didn't need to hold back at all, so every punch shattered the earth and shook the atmosphere.

Every time Dane swung his battle-axe, the clouds in the sky were torn apart, and lightning snakes darted between the cracks in the clouds.

Every time Hades swung his bident, the earth rolled, and molten lava erupted from underground, engulfing all the demon armies that couldn't escape in time.

Only the Kryptonian troops managed to survive.

The divine power woven by their gestures was like a missile bombardment, each strike ending at the cost of destroying the terrain.

Then the renewed Surface World would usher in new changes again in the next moment.

Gods like Osiris, who were not adept at close-quarters combat, stayed far away, fearing to be affected by the aftermath of their battle.

Only warrior gods like Set, Nuada, and Marduk could witness the battle up close.

"I can't believe he's a human!" Nuada exclaimed in admiration for Dane's exquisite martial arts.

They all knew what Shazam was, so they were well aware that before becoming Shazam, he was just an ordinary person.

"Even better, that way I'll have more of a sense of accomplishment when I kill him!" Set said with a sinister grin.

Dane killing Anubis bothered him greatly.

But Set still didn't know that Anubis's soul hadn't even escaped; otherwise, he wouldn't just be angry right now, he'd be going insane.

Marduk and Enlil carefully watched Dane's battle, trying to grasp his weaknesses.

They had no power of faith; all their divine power came from their accumulation in the New God Realm. The less they used, the better, as replenishing it was very difficult.

Returning to the battle, although the Shazam Force would bestow some combat experience and skills upon the user, those were very basic things.

And which of these gods, whose duty was combat, didn't possess their own legends and had experienced divine wars as warriors?

Yet, even they wouldn't dare to say they could defeat the current Dane, let alone that he could even fight Hades to a standstill.

But Hades, in the midst of the battle, felt extremely frustrated. If this were in his Underworld, with the support of Underworld power, he would be even stronger.

It was a pity that Persephone, that bitch, refused to cooperate with him. Hades was also afraid of being ambushed by that bitch in the Underworld, otherwise why would he abandon the home advantage to come here?

But he never expected that Dane could actually seize Ares's divine power and even use his techniques!

That's right, even Dane himself, his combat skills, theoretically speaking, couldn't possibly surpass Hades, who had lived for hundreds of thousands of years and experienced multiple divine wars.

But who made him possess Ares's divine power? Possessing his divine power meant simultaneously possessing his combat experience.

If Ares was in a normal state of mind, his combat skills were excellent. After all, he was a god who could contend with Zeus, so having such abilities was normal.

But unfortunately, the God of War's divinity, while bestowing stronger offensive capabilities, would also subtly affect his mind, gradually making him bloodthirsty and warlike, becoming increasingly insane.

Just like a Batman in the Dark Multiverse named "The Merciless," who was controlled by the God of War's helmet and completely transformed into a monster that only knew how to kill.

When Zeus crowned him God of War, his original intention was to make him an evil god, but he didn't anticipate that the effect of the God of War's divinity would be so outrageous that even he almost couldn't stop it.

If Ares hadn't been affected by the divinity and his mind became unclear, Zeus might not have won against him.

But Dane did not accept the God of War's divinity; instead, he treated Ares as a divine power battery, thus avoiding the flaw of his mind being affected.

Therefore, he was able to maintain a clear will while enjoying the amplification of the God of War's divinity, and utilize the God of War's exquisite techniques.

This immediately made Hades feel very uncomfortable.

Seeing that those gods were still watching the show from the sidelines, he couldn't help but roar, "What are you waiting for? Attack together!"

Although Dane being able to fight Hades to a standstill was impressive, could he really face the combined assault of all the gods alone?

Hearing Hades say this, the other gods also found it hard to remain spectators and rushed forward to attack Dane.

As expected, Dane quickly fell into a disadvantage.

Seeing this, the other members of the Justice League immediately wanted to go forward and help him, but they were blocked by a group of Kryptonians.

"There's no Sun here, how are they maintaining such strong combat power?"

Hal, punched in the chest by one of the Kryptonians, said somewhat dejectedly.

Clark still displayed divine bravery, but his teammates knew that his punches were no longer as powerful as they were at the beginning.

Diana also found this matter somewhat unusual, but she knew in her heart that unusual things happening in the magic World could usually be explained by magic.

So she killed a Kryptonian Soldier with a sword, tearing open the opponent's armor, revealing the magic patterns inside.

A magic rune was drawn on it. Although Diana couldn't understand it, she felt that this rune looked exactly like a Sun!

She suspected that these Kryptonians absorbed the Sun's energy in this way.

"Clark!"

Diana threw the armor in her hand towards Superman. Clark subconsciously caught it, and his finger accidentally touched that magic rune.

In an instant, a familiar energy surged into his body, making him feel warm all over. It was the energy of the Sun.

"So that's how it is, they've drawn the Sun's power into this armor through a kind of magic!"

Clark had just reached his conclusion when the armor in his hand suddenly shattered, which stunned him.

He swore he didn't do anything!

Hal flew over at this moment, speculating, "This thing is very likely to recognize its Master. Those who are not in the same faction cannot use it."

Doesn't that mean Clark has no way to use it to replenish his lost energy?

This targeting made him feel very uncomfortable.

Diana was extremely anxious seeing Dane being besieged by the Gods.

"We must go help Dane!"

"I want to too, but these guys are too difficult to deal with." Hal once again dodged a Kryptonian and shot out a green laser.

The number of Kryptonians Hades had accumulated over the years was enormous; even if their strength couldn't reach Superman's level, their sheer numbers made them difficult to contend with.

Cortana knew Dane's plan, so she remained unfazed for the time being. On the contrary, seeing Diana and the others struggling, she brought them a new helper.

Faora received Cortana's command, emerged from the dream stone, and arrived at the hellish battlefield.

"This is quite a spectacle."

Faora was still wearing her Kryptonian battle armor, but what was different was that this armor had been modified by Cortana and also had the function of drawing in the Sun's power.

This was something Cortana had just learned from the armor Diana discovered.

She understood more than Diana; she recognized that it was a rune representing the Egyptian Sun God, "Rao."

She made some changes to it. Dane also possessed the Sun God's divine power, so she connected its power source to Dane's divine power.

It was merely drawing the Sun's light into hell, not consuming much divine power. Compared to gaining Faora as a combatant, this cost was already very low.

Faora glanced at the battle situation in the field and flew directly into it, targeting the Kryptonians.

"Who is that?" Hal quickly saw Faora slaughtering on the battlefield.

Clark recognized the battle armor on the female Kryptonian at a glance; Zod also had a similar one.

"How did Dane let her out?"
