Batman later improved it, turning it into a device that could absorb kinetic energy.
This also allowed the absorbed kinetic energy to be stored and converted into another weapon, a suggestion Dane had made to him.
This inspiration came from the "Black Panther" movie Dane had watched. He thought it was a pretty good idea, and now it seemed the effect was indeed quite good; even Giganta couldn't trample him to death.
The Outsider's sneak attack didn't work, and he was momentarily caught off guard.
But Batman didn't hesitate; he punched the opponent in the face, releasing the accumulated kinetic energy, almost smashing the Outsider's jaw to pieces!
Seeing the dire situation, Black Bison had no choice but to act to protect himself. He swung his Scepter downwards, and the surrounding concrete and rebar seemed to come alive, attacking the Justice League.
Wonder Woman slashed left and right with her godfire sword, cutting all the constructs he commanded in half. With her other hand, she flung out the Lasso of Truth, ensnaring Black Bison's Scepter.
Black Bison initially tried to arm wrestle with her, but he was overestimating himself; his strength was nothing compared to Wonder Woman's, and the Scepter was easily taken away.
He then activated the magic on the Scepter, attempting to make it fly back to him, but Zatanna immediately chanted a counter-spell, severing the connection between him and the Scepter.
Plastic Man transformed his entire body into a mud-like plastic and enveloped Black Bison.
"You better be honest, buddy, you have nowhere to run!"
Black Bison struggled for a while, but eventually gave in.
Copperhead ran towards the heroes without superpowers. Nightwing felt a bit annoyed, thinking, "Why does everyone think I'm a soft target?"
But before he could act, Red Hood decisively pulled out his gun and shot, wounding Copperhead's calf.
His suit should have been able to resist gunfire, but Red Hood was also pursuing maximum bullet lethality; this time he used armor-piercing rounds!
Forget his suit, even tank armor plating could be punctured, so Copperhead immediately dropped to his knees and was captured.
Hyena was truly like a real hyena; he hid among the crowd, then suddenly aimed at Nightwing's backside, opening his large mouth, attempting to bite his anus.
A chill immediately ran down Nightwing's spine. He quickly turned around and saw Hyena's gaping maw.
He immediately struck Hyena on the forehead with his stick, and also activated the current generator on the stick, electrocuting Hyena until he foamed at the mouth.
Then he grabbed Hyena by the neck, lifted him up, and slammed the back of his head hard onto the ground, knocking Hyena out cold.
Shadow Thief, the metahuman with teleportation abilities, wanted to escape the moment she discovered the Justice League, but it took time for her to activate her teleportation, and Giganta's rampage didn't give her that time.
Therefore, when Giganta grew to enormous size, Shadow Thief could only become intangible, hiding in a corner. When she felt it was safe enough and tried to emerge, Dr. Light, with glowing eyes, stood before her.
Light is the nemesis of shadows. Dr. Light emitted an intense white light in front of Shadow Thief, causing her to let out a piercing scream.
A moment later, after Dr. Light reined in her light, Shadow Thief had already collapsed unconscious.
Dr. Light was about to apprehend Shadow Thief when Giganta's huge foot suddenly descended from above; she could only dodge.
Shadow Thief, however, was not so lucky. She was still unconscious, unable to dodge or use her abilities, and was ultimately trampled to death by Giganta!
Blood and gore splattered everywhere under Giganta's foot. Dr. Light even felt her stomach churn and almost threw up.
But what saddened her most was that she hadn't managed to save Shadow Thief!
Dane flew over and patted her shoulder: "You can't save everyone. Perhaps this was her fate."
Then Dane looked up. All the villains were captured (or dead), leaving only the raging giantess.
He stomped the ground and flew into the sky, reaching Giganta's face in the blink of an eye, then threw a punch that landed squarely on her chin.
A circular Impact wave exploded around her. Giganta felt her chin, along with her brain, jolt, and her entire perception blurred as she began to topple backward.
Zatanna, below, chanted a spell at Giganta, causing her size to shrink as she fell, finally returning to normal size when she hit the ground.
With that, all members of the secret society were apprehended.
Except for Shadow Thief, who was trampled to a pulp, the other members were escorted to the special prison in the Watchtower.
Batman interrogated the Outsider alone; Dane and the others did not participate.
He knew what Batman cared about, but unfortunately, in that Universe, the The Waynes also died tragically, and it was precisely at the hands of the Outsider and Little Thomas Wayne.
It was also the Outsider who assisted Little Thomas, allowing him to become Gotham's nightmare.
Unlike Batman, Owlman was Gotham's true nightmare; he not only maintained order there but also effectively ruled it.
During Batman's interrogation, the other Justice League members waited outside; no one disturbed him.
Barry and Blue Beetle were getting along well, now arm in arm, chatting and laughing.
Several female superheroes gathered together, discussing something he didn't know about either.
Superman shared the happy news of Lois's pregnancy with those who knew his true identity; he looked genuinely thrilled.
"Dane, did you hear? I'm going to have a child soon!" Clark's face was beaming with joy.
He should be grateful that the Joker no longer existed in this World; no one would target his child.
Dane smiled and offered his blessings: "Congratulations to you both. Have you decided on a name for the child?"
"If it's a boy, I hope he's named Jonathan." A Flash of nostalgia crossed Clark's eyes.
Jonathan was the name of Clark's adoptive father; his death had always been a wound in Clark's heart.
"If it's a girl, I hope she can be named Lana…"
"Hold on!" Dane quickly interrupted him, "Let Lois choose the girl's name!"
Seriously, naming your daughter after your first girlfriend? What were you thinking?
Clark was momentarily stunned by Dane's interruption, but he quickly reacted: "You're right, I should ask Lois for her opinion."
As they chatted, Batman walked out of the interrogation room…
