These were the members the Outsider carefully screened and recruited; for various reasons, they all chose to oppose the mainstream heroes of the current World.
"At a time like this, why have you gathered us here?"
Deathstroke's tone was somewhat displeased; his stance was actually quite wavering. The Outsider could only get him to act because he paid enough, and deep down, he wasn't eager to antagonize Shazam.
Although the Outsider's heart was filled with unease, he still appeared very composed.
"The plan has reached a very critical moment. I think we should stay together as much as possible, ready to act at any time…"
At this point, the Outsider suddenly realized a problem: Bomb Queen had been ordered to capture Madame Xanadu some time ago, so why had there been no news until now?
He immediately returned to the control panel to check Bomb Queen's location. He had long since installed a tracker on her, but there was no display on the map.
That tracker had long since been destroyed by Dane's lightning.
"No! We might be exposed!"
No sooner had the Outsider finished speaking than a pillar of light, like a Boom Tube, suddenly descended from the sky. A host of superheroes emerged from the light—it was the Justice League!
Dane smiled as he looked at the Outsider directly in front of him: "Good afternoon, everyone, and you too. Welcome to our World, Alfred Pennyworth from another Universe. You remind me of an acquaintance."
Although the Outsider looked very similar to this World's butler, his face was extremely evil and very pale, as pale as the Joker.
Batman slightly raised his head, gazed at the man, and said to Dane, "He's mine."
Dane nodded, signifying his agreement.
"Run!" Deathstroke, utterly devoid of integrity, yelled this out and immediately took off.
As he ran, he cursed the Outsider in his heart for being an idiot, for actually attracting the Justice League, and with a full roster at that.
Who the hell could fight against this?!
But Flash was much faster than him; with a Flash of lightning around him, he appeared in front of Deathstroke.
"I'm afraid you can't leave, sir."
Deathstroke unhesitatingly pulled out his gun and fired, but the bullets were easily dodged by Barry. He strolled leisurely to Deathstroke, gently pushed him with both hands, sending him flying.
He flew directly backward and slammed against the wall.
Barry looked very apologetic: "Sorry, I think I used too much force."
He didn't use too much force; he was just faster than before!
Alright, alright, Flash is getting closer and closer to time travel. When that happens, this timeline will probably be a mess again, Dane thought.
After Flash launched the first attack, the others quickly reacted. Giganta was the first to activate her ability, making her body enormous.
In just a few seconds, her head pierced through the ceiling, and the concrete walls shattered, sending debris flying in all directions.
Not only the Justice League, but even the members of the secret society were included in her attack range.
"Crazy woman!" Black Bison cursed under his breath, quickly using magic to protect himself.
When Giganta activated her abilities, she would fall into a state of mental frenzy, making her indiscriminate between friend and foe.
Now that she was gigantic, she began to stomp wildly on the ground with her feet, causing continuous earthquakes.
It was hard to say how the Justice League fared, but Multiplex on the secret society's side was almost trampled to death.
"Fuck!"
Multiplex urgently split into several duplicates; several were immediately trampled to death by Giganta, infuriating him and making him curse loudly!
Meanwhile, Batman, amidst the chaos, quickly used his grapple gun to hook the Outsider and pull him closer.
But the Outsider cunningly pulled out a gun from his pocket and shot at him, specifically aiming for his chin.
However, he obviously didn't know that Batman had upgraded his equipment a long time ago. His chin, seemingly unprotected, was actually always shielded by an invisible force field.
Bullets hit it, had their kinetic energy absorbed by the force field, stuck to it, and then fell off.
This force field generator was a technology reverse-engineered from Kryptonian masks. Originally, it would deflect bullets, potentially harming innocent people.
