After a day of battle, Eller slowly sat up from the bed in the Avengers Base's infirmary.
Eller held his somewhat dizzy head and asked, "How long was I unconscious?"
With that, Eller looked around and found that he had returned to the Avengers Base. He then found a tablet computer on the nightstand, which showed the time as December 26th.
There was also a mirror on the nightstand, reflecting Eller's face at that moment. His originally messy white hair seemed to have disappeared, but his eyes were still blue.
This meant he had been unconscious for a full day. Eller carefully thought about the battle process, then sent his consciousness into his Dimensional Pocket.
Upon seeing the two glowing gems, Eller's face was filled with a smile.
"I gained both the mind stone and the space stone. This is a huge gain," Eller thought to himself, a smile unconsciously appearing on his face.
But after carefully observing his Dimensional Pocket, Eller discovered something was wrong.
"Where is my Desire Driver? And where are my Inferno Booster and Star Mark Magnum?!"
Eller searched everywhere, but he couldn't find any trace of these items.
"Did I not put these things away before I fainted?" Eller wondered, preparing to go out and ask an Avenger.
So, Eller left the infirmary and began searching for others in the Avengers Base.
Anyway, he had already automatically de-transformed at that time, so he no longer needed to hide his true identity from his comrades.
"Dr. Banner?" Eller found Banner in the lounge. He asked him, "Where are the others? Have you seen them?"
"It seems you've recovered well," Banner pushed up his glasses and then told Eller what everyone had gone to do after the battle ended.
"Thor went back to his hometown, telling everyone he met that he was going to hold a funeral for his brother. Captain said he was going back to Brooklyn for a while. Tony said he was going home to organize data. Now, only the two of us are left in this Base."
"I see," Eller nodded, then asked, "Then, have you seen my transformation items?"
"What transformation items?" Banner was startled.
"It's the small items and belt I wore on my waist when I put on the armor," Eller gestured the shape of the Desire Driver and Buckles in the air.
But as the confusion on Banner's face grew, Eller's heart skipped a beat.
"No one has seen what you're talking about. Haven't you always kept them yourself?" Banner said, puzzled.
If no one saw the Driver and Buckles, then where did they go? They couldn't have just disappeared into thin air... Just as Eller was thinking this, Banner suddenly said something.
"Oh, by the way, I think you should pay more attention to your body," Dr. Banner suddenly said to Eller earnestly.
"Why?"
"Your body is a bit different from normal humans. Well, it's a bit redundant to say that among the Avengers. In short, while you were unconscious, your body was automatically absorbing moisture from the air. I did a quick check and found that your body was automatically undergoing electrolysis. After electrolysis, it produced hydrogen, and the hydrogen then provided you with the energy needed for survival."
Dr. Banner's words made Eller recall something. Wasn't this the operating principle of the Desire Driver?
The reason the Desire Driver could operate almost indefinitely was because it could operate in the way Dr. Banner described, maintaining combat consumption with an energy utilization rate exceeding 96%.
In other words, the Desire Driver was actually inside him?
Thinking of this, Eller understood what was going on. It was likely that during the battle with Supergiant, his body had undergone some 'mutation' or, more appropriately, 'modification' after being exposed to high-intensity energy.
The Desire Driver, Inferno Booster Buckle, and Star Mark Magnum Buckle were probably directly integrated into his body.
"I understand what's going on," Eller nodded. He took two steps back and then said to Dr. Banner:
"Dr., please watch what happens next. I need to confirm some things."
"What?"
Before Banner finished speaking, Eller concentrated, thinking about the Desire Driver appearing on him.
The fact was just as Eller had guessed. After concentrating, the Desire Driver itself appeared, followed closely by the Geats ID Core.
As a mechanical sound rang out, Eller transformed into his Login Form.
"It's just as I thought!" Eller said happily. The two Buckles were probably the same; they would automatically appear whenever he wanted them to.
This way, he wouldn't have to fear the Law of Victory, which was the stealing of the belt.
"So that's how you transform. Is it a type of superpower or technology not found on Earth?"
Dr. Banner looked at the scene before him with a hint of curiosity. As a scientist, he loved such completely new and novel things.
Eller de-transformed and then said to Dr. Banner, "It's both superpower and technology, but I'm not quite sure anymore."
"How amazing," Dr. Banner didn't press further. After all, everyone has their own secrets.
And at that moment, an untimely voice sounded in their ears.
"Alright, Dr. Banner, you'll have plenty of time to watch your friend perform magic later, but right now, I have a problem that needs to be solved."
Nick Fury appeared in the Avengers Base wearing his black leather jacket. He came up to the two of them with his hands behind his back and then asked Eller:
"Mr. Ailer Hestia, the world-renowned author, can you tell me where S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Tesseract went after it was struck and only a small core remained?"
"He's here to demand an explanation, but if we're talking about prior ownership, Red Skull seems to have more right to demand the Tesseract..." Eller smiled confidently, "I don't know."
"You don't know?" Nick Fury's face seemed to say, 'Do you think I believe you?'
"I really don't know," Eller straightened his back, his confidence unwavering, and replied:
"It might have left Earth in the aftermath of that battle. The explosion was so powerful, it's not impossible for it to have flown out of Earth. Now only that scepter is left. If you want to study it, I'll lend it to you to play with."
"..." Nick Fury's face seemed to darken even more. He took a deep breath and then asked:
"How am I supposed to believe you?"
If there was only that scepter, its research value wouldn't be as great, as the Chitauri's weapons and equipment were more worth studying.
Nick Fury just needed an attitude from Eller.
"I swear on the name of Kamen Rider Geats!" Eller said with shining eyes.
"I'll believe you this once," Nick Fury said somewhat unwillingly.
Seeing this, Eller smiled slightly, then said to Nick Fury, "Alright, Director Fury, I'm leaving too. Someone at home is waiting for me to start dinner."
"Go, go, go," Nick Fury said impatiently, as if driving away a plague god.
Soon after, Eller returned to New York to see the person who made his heart skip a beat.
He pushed open the wooden door, which he had pushed open countless times before, and then called out into the house.
"I'm home."
