Sing the World
Naval Headquarters — atop the battlefield.
The fierce clash between the Straw Hats and the Blackbeard Pirates came to a sudden halt.
Everyone felt as though their minds had gone blank, their senses blurred.
The place was still the same—Naval Headquarters—yet everything felt wrong.
The once-great fortress now lay in utter ruin.
But what truly drew everyone's attention was not the destruction… it was the people who had suddenly awakened.
A moment ago, only a handful had been conscious.
Now, in the blink of an eye—
everyone was awake.
Confusion rippled through the battlefield like a wave.
"What's going on?"
"Captain Teach, this—this isn't a dream!"
Fighting Champion Jesus Burgess's eyes bulged, his voice trembling.
"Captain, something's wrong! Something feels seriously off!"
Devil Sheriff Lafitte's tone was sharp, his expression uneasy.
"Or maybe," said sniper Van Augur quietly, "this is how it's supposed to be."
Rain Shiryu squinted toward the wreckage. "So this is Marineford after the war… The Whitebeard Pirates have been defeated. The Marines took heavy losses too."
"But—this isn't what I saw before," growled the Evil King, Avalo Pizarro. "Where the hell are we?"
"Damn it! How did we even end up here?"
The Crescent Moon Hunter, Catarina Devon, scowled darkly.
"Maybe now's our chance to collect a few heads…"
Basco Shot, the Drunken Barrel, slurred with a crooked grin.
It wasn't just the Blackbeard Pirates.
Even the Straw Hats and their allies were stunned by the abrupt shift before them.
"Reality and illusion… which side is the truth?" murmured Revolutionary Army Commander Lindbergh, shaking his head.
"Sabo-kun, where are we?" asked Morley, the giant okama, her voice uncertain.
"Is this… the real battlefield?" Karasu of the Northern Army muttered.
"Newgate…" Rayleigh's tone darkened, his eyes locked on the figure of Whitebeard standing ahead. "Was that why you were crying just now?"
"Father! Mr. Ace! Marco, Jozu—everyone! What the hell is going on!?"
Jinbei's shout echoed across the wreckage. His mind spun, unable to make sense of the chaos.
"Ace…"
Straw Hat Luffy stared blankly at his trembling hands.
The brother he'd just been holding—Ace—was gone.
Then a chill ran through him. His head snapped toward the execution platform.
There—lying in a pool of dark crimson blood—
Ace lay still, his expression peaceful.
"Ace… Sabo—Ace, he… he's dead? Ace is dead?"
Luffy's pupils dilated in shock. Terror swallowed him whole.
His skin went pale; his lips quivered uncontrollably.
He couldn't even form words.
"No! No, no! That's not true! Ace—Ace is still alive!"
Sabo shook his head desperately, refusing to accept it.
Across the battlefield, the sudden reappearance of the Straw Hats and the Blackbeard Pirates plunged the entire Marineford into stunned silence.
Then—
"Straw Hat!!!"
The voice of Commodore White Hunter Smoker shattered the stillness.
"Ah—ahhh!"
"Someone's—someone's here!"
"They just appeared out of nowhere!"
"This is our Naval Headquarters! How could someone invade silently!?"
Marines all around shouted in disbelief, panic rippling through their ranks.
"Forget that—look at those intruders!"
"That kid in the straw hat—that's Monkey D. Luffy, the one who caused the Sabaody incident ten days ago!"
"The man beside him—no mistake—that's Sabo, the Revolutionary Army's Chief of Staff!"
"And the three with him—they're the commanders of the Revolutionary Army!"
"Wait—look at that old man! That's… that's a legend from the previous era!"
"The right hand of the Pirate King himself—Pluton Silver Rayleigh!"
A deafening uproar erupted across the headquarters.
"The Blackbeard Pirates!"
"They're here too!"
"Blackbeard! Where the hell were you hiding during the war!?"
"And that's Crocodile! And Jinbei!"
"Weren't both Crocodile and Jinbei imprisoned in Impel Down!? Why are they here!?"
"Wait—look closer! The men around Blackbeard—"
Gasps broke out as the Marines recognized the infamous faces.
"Evil King Avalo Pizarro!"
"Big Barrel Basco Shot!"
"Crescent Moon Hunter Catarina Devon!"
"And Shiryu—the former jailer of Impel Down!"
"These are all world-class criminals who were supposed to be locked away forever!"
"Why the hell would Blackbeard bring them here!?"
"Did something happen to Impel Down?!"
"Don't tell me… Blackbeard actually broke into the great prison!?"
"If that's true, then what happened to Director Magellan!?"
The uproar from the Marines grew into a rolling wave of panic and disbelief.
"Ahh… so Impel Down really has fallen," muttered Admiral Aokiji, shaking his head. "That's… bad."
Admiral Kizaru pouted, his tone lazy but his eyes sharp. "If Blackbeard came back with all those prisoners, then yeah, Impel Down's been breached. But honestly…" He turned his gaze toward Sugisawa Yuuto. "What I really wanna know is—what the hell did you do?"
The world's greatest swordsman, Dracule Mihawk, fixed his eagle-sharp gaze on Yuuto.
"Was all of this part of your plan, Sugisawa Yuuto?"
The Pirate Empress, Boa Hancock, clasped her hands dreamily. "He truly is the man my heart belongs to…"
"Yuuto… what exactly did you do?"
Vice Admiral Momousagi Gion frowned deeply, her earlier calm gone. Even the dullest mind could now sense that something was terribly wrong.
Vice Admiral Tsuru sighed, shaking her head. "Hah… looks like we've been completely played by that man."
"Grandma Tsuru, what's happening?"
Ensign Peacock looked lost, her eyes wide.
"The answer," Tsuru said quietly, turning her gaze southeast, "will be revealed soon enough."
From the east, a figure approached—his footsteps heavy yet steady.
Marine Hero Vice Admiral Garp strode forward until he stood before Luffy and Sabo.
"Grandpa…"
Tears streamed down Luffy's cheeks as his voice broke.
"Ace… is Ace really dead!?"
And on the blood-soaked battlefield of Marineford, the cries of grief and confusion echoed against a sky still trembling from the chaos Sugisawa Yuuto had unleashed upon the world.
