I watch Colson leave the house with a concerned face. But as soon as he slams the door behind him, a smile stretches across my lips.
Rather than sad and worried that I made myself appear to him, I'm actually happy. Why wouldn't I be? Leiara had just been dragged into the house like an animal, haha.
It seems, rather than seduce Colson and get on his good side, she did the opposite.
I don't even know what she did, but kudos! I've never seen Colson that enraged before so she must be a kind of a pro to have angered him that much.
Can't say I'm not pleased. Should I perhaps, reward her for this good deed?
My gaze darts to the stairs and linger for a moment.
Yep! I should.
I hurry upstairs to her room and knock loudly with enthusiasm. But when I get no response, I call out to her.
"Leiara?! Leiara. I know you're in there, open up."
I knock repeatedly but there is neither a sound from her nor any attempt to open me the door.
