Two days. It's been two days since that unsightly scene. A scene that has remained etched in my memory.
After witnessing how close they both have gotten, I must admit that my mental health took a deep dive into the abyss.
It was a big blow to my heart, as well as my pride.
Thinking back to how Colson yelled at me that day… the first in so long, it completely shattered my heart.
That scene had broken my heart but at least, the pieces were still attached and yet to fall. But being harshly yelled at by the one who I thought would take my side completely shattered it.
The look in his eyes that day, the way he held her so close, I couldn't have mistaken it. I want to believe it's not true, but it's quite clear.
He loves her. I could see it that day!
It might not be as strong as his love for me, but it isn't a lie that something has blossomed inside him for her.
