Even in his Infinite Form, Zero's attacks were overwhelming. With Yu Zhou and Geed weaving their own strikes in between, Belial soon found himself besieged, unable to fully block the storm of blows.
But the onslaught only seemed to fuel his rage. With a guttural roar, Belial swept the Ultimate Battler across in a brutal arc. The weapon's destructive force blasted outward—Geed and Zero were both flung away with explosive force.
Yu Zhou alone evaded, his nimble Sky Type reflexes carrying him clear of the sweep.
Belial's arrival on Earth had two purposes: vengeance upon Tiga and Zero, and to reclaim Geed—absorbing his son into his own body, fusing their energies into a terrifying whole.
"Geed!" Belial growled, striding toward the fallen Ultra. "Let your father embrace you properly!"
Ignoring the recovering Zero, he lunged onto Geed, pinning him to the ground and pummeling him mercilessly.
"I'm Geed—Ultraman Geed!" the young warrior cried out, struggling desperately beneath Belial's crushing weight. "Until you return to who you once were, don't you dare call yourself my father!"
Belial only chuckled, perversely amused. "So rebellious… just as I'd expect of my son. Excellent."
He seized Geed by the arm and hurled him like a ragdoll into a nearby high-rise. The building collapsed in a thunderous crash.
"Belial!" Yu Zhou roared, shifting into his Multi Form and charging in. "Let your father show you some love too!"
He crashed into Belial with a full-bodied tackle. The black giant responded instantly, firing another violet energy sphere from the Battler. Yu Zhou, caught mid-air, summoned an Ultra Barrier, intercepting the searing blast before slamming both of them into the rubble.
Belial thrashed beneath him, but Yu Zhou locked him down, hammering his head with open palms. "So defiant! No wonder you're my son!"
"I am no one's son!" Belial bellowed, hurling Yu Zhou off. His scarlet eyes blazed with venom. "I am Belial! The darkest, most evil existence in the universe!"
Yu Zhou rebounded instantly, shifting into Power Type mid-charge. "Stand still for your father!"
Belial swung the Battler in a deadly sweep—but Yu Zhou flipped gracefully over it, landing behind him.
"Secret technique… Man's Lockdown!"
His thick arms coiled around Belial's neck, wrenching him into a brutal chokehold.
"Zero! Geed! Now's the chance!" Yu Zhou roared.
Zero understood at once. He shed Infinite Form, reconfiguring into his Moon Miracle form—his silver-and-blue body glowing faintly with serene light.
Geed, battered but unbroken, activated the Ultraman Cosmos and Ultraman Hikari Capsules. Two spectral figures emerged, merging with him, transforming him into his agile Solid Form.
"What are you planning?!" Belial snarled, struggling in Yu Zhou's iron grip. For the first time, unease flickered in his eyes as he saw the silver-blue forms closing in.
"Supreme Smash Purification Beam!"
Geed raised his hands. A swirl of rainbow light formed between them, washing outward with a gentle, almost healing aura. The radiance wrapped around Belial's body like chains of compassion.
"Soul Purification Ray!"
Zero, in Moon Miracle form, unleashed a beam of pure white light, piercing to the very essence of Belial's soul. Unlike ordinary energy attacks, this one was meant to purge the parasitic soul of the Reiblood that had possessed him.
The two purifying forces merged, flooding Belial's form. His struggles slowed. For a moment, the black giant seemed to soften, his violent movements weakening as the power seeped into him.
Yu Zhou released his hold, watching intently.
The purification light grew brighter, and Belial's form flickered. For an instant, his shadowy body overlapped with another—a faint image of what he had once been.
"It's working…" Geed's voice trembled with hope.
"Good. Zero's soul purification is tearing the Reiblood essence away," Zero confirmed, his gaze steady.
But then—
"AAAAHHHHH!" Belial howled in agony. His body spasmed as his form split between two phantoms: his own silhouette and that of the Reiblood entity within him. The clash of souls drove him into violent convulsions, rolling across the ground.
"Not enough…" Yu Zhou muttered grimly. He shifted back to Multi Form and raised one arm. From his hand shone the golden light of Tiga's Purification Beam—the same gentle power that once saved a rampaging monster in ages past.
Three purifying beams struck Belial at once. The light poured into him endlessly.
His body shook harder and harder. The flickering of souls grew faster, alternating too rapidly to track.
Then—
"AAAAAAAARRRRGHHHHHHHHHH!"
A titanic shockwave erupted from Belial, blowing the three Ultras apart. Their beams shattered as the wave tore outward, demolishing nearby structures in its wake.
"YOU WILL NEVER PURIFY ME!" Belial roared, thrashing wildly. With a sweep of the Battler, he annihilated entire blocks, explosions and fire lighting the skyline.
"It failed," Yu Zhou said darkly, staring into the flames.
Geed's fists trembled. "No… it was working… I saw his true self! We were so close!"
But there was no denying it: Belial's body remained cloaked in shadow, his crimson eyes gleaming with hatred.
With another roar, Belial raised two Capsules. Their spectral projections—Five King and Zogu Second Form—materialized, then merged into his body.
Yu Zhou's eyes widened in recognition. Five King… the abomination born from Golza, Melba, Reicubas, Super Gudon, and Super Gomora, once defeated only by Tiga, Dyna, and Gaia together. And Zogu's Second Form, the final nightmare of Ultraman Gaia's world.
Now both had fused into Belial at once.
A storm of violet-black light engulfed him. His form swelled monstrously, sprouting vast wings, thick legs, and a colossal tail that whipped the earth and split it open.
When the light cleared, the monstrosity stood revealed—Belial Chimeraberus.
Dust blasted outward with each beat of its wings. Its tail slammed down, gouging deep fissures into the streets as the ground quaked beneath its might.
"This form…" Belial's guttural voice shook the air. "Forged from Capsules stolen from the Land of Light… empowered by the bloodline of Reiblood… and the strength of the Reionics!"
Yu Zhou's face hardened. He recognized the creature from the legends—Chimeraberus Belial, the fusion beast Belial had once become, the very one that swallowed Geed whole in the original tale.
And now, it stood before them once more.
