"Geed, use the power of the Ultraman King."
Yu Zhou was helpless. They had failed to purify Belial, and now he had merged into the terrifying Chimeraberus.
This monster was unbelievably strong. In the original storyline, Geed could only defeat it by using his Royal Mega-Master form.
Since purification wasn't possible, there was only one option left—end Belial here and now.
"Alright!"
Geed knew this too. If Belial could not be saved, then the only mercy left was release. And as Belial's son, it was only right that he should be the one to do it.
Belial's Capsule and the Ultraman King's Capsule activated together. A golden radiance engulfed Geed's body, reshaping him—into the very form of Belial's original self.
Seeing this, Yu Zhou blinked in surprise. In the TV broadcast, this form had always been wrapped in light and hard to make out. Now, before his very eyes, he could clearly see it: Geed wasn't just Belial's clone—he bore the same genetic origin as the Ultraman Belial who once shone with light.
A golden brilliance shimmered above him. Geed leapt up, grasping the shining power. His form transformed further—revealing the majestic figure of Royal Mega-Master, complete with the Ultraman King's staff and a flowing golden cape.
"This form… impossible!" Belial's eyes widened in disbelief. "How could you—my son—be recognized by the Ultraman King?!"
To him, such a thing was absurd. He had defied the Land of Light, betrayed its people, and become its most reviled enemy. For his offspring to wield the Ultraman King's power should have been impossible. And yet—it was happening before his eyes.
Belial roared, his monstrous legs pounding as he charged straight at Geed.
"Even though you've done countless wrongs, if you could truly return to your original self… if you could admit your mistakes… then you are still my father!"
Geed's voice rang out as he swung the royal staff.
Slash! Slash! Slash! Slash!
Four strikes in a row, golden sparks bursting across Belial's armored body, driving him back.
"Spinning Slash!"
Geed gathered light into the staff, spun, and unleashed a shining golden blade.
Boom! The beam exploded across Belial's chest, scattering smoke and debris.
From the sidelines, Yu Zhou and Zero stood back, choosing not to interfere. This was Geed's battle—just as Ultraman King himself had decreed.
The smoke parted, revealing Belial still standing. His jaws opened, summoning a massive crimson fireball that shot toward Geed.
Geed planted his staff forward. At once, the phantoms of the Six Ultra Brothers appeared before him, merging into a vast shield that caught the fiery blast.
Frustrated, Belial's wings beat furiously, lifting him into the skies.
Geed followed without hesitation, leaping into the air to engage him.
"Zero, looks like this isn't our fight anymore," Yu Zhou said, leaning casually against the ruins of a collapsed building.
"Yeah," Zero agreed with a shrug. "Looks like Geed's got this handled."
With the Ultraman King's power, Geed could go toe-to-toe with even the fusion beast Chimeraberus. The old king wasn't just powerful—he was a legend who had once saved the entire universe.
High above, Geed and Belial clashed violently, shockwaves splitting the skies. Explosions, sparks, and titanic beams lit the heavens.
Down below, humanity watched in awe.
"Why aren't Zero and Tiga helping?"
"Maybe because Geed's too strong right now?"
"Look—Belial can't even keep up!"
"Geed's amazing!"
"But still… Zero and Tiga look kinda bored."
"…."
The ground shook as Geed struck Belial down. The massive body crashed into the earth, carving out a gigantic crater.
Lying there, Belial knew he couldn't win. Not against Geed—not while Tiga and Zero were still standing nearby, ready to intervene if he faltered.
Escape.
That single thought filled his mind.
With a sudden burst of energy, Belial launched himself upward, wings carrying him toward the stars.
"Binding Beam!"
Yu Zhou thrust out his hand, golden energy chains wrapping around Belial, trying to hold him in place.
But Belial roared, wings flaring as a shockwave shattered the bindings, and he surged higher.
"Royal Ultimate Burst!"
Geed crossed his staff with his hand, unleashing a colossal torrent of golden energy, a light that could erase even the strongest of monsters.
But Belial twisted, wings whipping with desperate speed. Against all odds, he slipped past the beam, vanishing into the void of space.
"He… escaped?!"
Yu Zhou and Zero exchanged a look, then both took off after him. Geed ended his beam and quickly followed.
Yet, once outside the atmosphere, they found only silence. Belial's shadow was gone.
"This… shouldn't have happened," Yu Zhou muttered, frowning. In the original timeline, Geed had destroyed Belial here, releasing all the Monster Capsules. But now—Belial still held them. Worse, he still had the power to become Atrocious Belial.
"Let's head back," Yu Zhou sighed. "If he can evolve further, then he will return."
Zero clenched his fists. "And we're just letting him run?"
"I'm sorry… it's my fault." Geed bowed his head, guilt heavy in his voice.
Yu Zhou stepped forward, placing a hand on his shoulder. "No, Geed. Don't blame yourself. He'll return—and when he does, you'll defeat him."
"But what if he hides for centuries? What if he never comes back?" Zero asked, arms crossed.
"No," Yu Zhou shook his head firmly. "He'll be back soon."
"Because Fukude Kei is still on Earth. And in his body lies an immense energy source—one Belial will not ignore."
Yu Zhou's voice was calm, but certain.
Kei hadn't appeared since Geed destroyed him in his Ultimate form. But Yu Zhou knew—he had read the script. The Phase Reversal Organ within Kei was still active, still generating power. Belial would have to return for it.
And when he did—that would be their chance.
"So… the Capsules inside him, the way he twisted energy before… it was all because of that organ?" Geed asked, glancing at Yu Zhou.
Yu Zhou nodded. "Exactly. And because of that… there's still hope. A chance for your father's redemption."
